How did your S pen nibs break so fast? I have buyed my tab s8+ 3 days ago and i am not sure if mine break so fast too. should i be worried or very careful?
@@surikA. if you drop it or something it can break.. it's soft so breaks fast
But if you keep it well it won't break
just replace it from the seller why are you buying a nib

Thanks so much for making this video. I just got a Samsung Galaxy tab S8, but I don't have any problems with the S pen. However, I thought about what I would need to do if the nib did wear down/break, so this video is useful (especially since it seems Samsung does not sell replacement nibs, and many other replacements don't have a soft tipped nib).
The soft tip nibs exist but rare, and you have to read the product description carefully. YOu can search AliExpress. Or find the LAMY Z107 PC/EL pointier tip which looks identical to the Samsung soft pen nib.
@@teohontech7141 Hi, I have an update on my situation. The S pen tip broke :/. Haven't even had it for a week. It broke when I put it in a slot in a case I have for the tab (going to get a new case so this doesn't happen again), so this video came in handy after all.

THANK YOU. I have been unsuccessful finding original Samsung s-pen nibs. I ordered a Staebler pencil and replacement nibs so will try the Staebler nibs in my s-pen when they arrive. Many of the off-brand nibs that claim to work with the s-pen get horrible reviews. Hoping Staebler works - they are made in Germany so they got to be good.

Could the difference in line weight be caused because the pen itself is heavier (according to tech specs)?
I don’t think so. All the pens are not that different in weight

2 years later and the steadler tips from that link is now $15 😂 On a serious note, I've been looking for an alternative nib because I have a papermatte screen protector and it literally took a day to wear down the 3rd party nib that I bought so I've been using a metal one but it's scratching my screen protector so I've been looking for another alternative. I love the papermatte, and I don't think I'm ready to let it go. Can you suggest some solutions?
Plastic ones will just wear down fast on matte surfaces. I don't think there's other options other than to keep buying replacement nibs if you use matte screen protectors.

I have a Supcase with built in screen protector for my Tab S7, and the soft tip is too resistant to movement. I've been looking for hard tip replacements for my Norris jumbo. The ones for the S pen don't seat all the way in, and therefore flex when I write.
So did you manage to insert the staedtler nibs into the s pen one?
Hi! Would you recommend using this nib with a matte screen protector? I want to use matte screen protector for Galaxy Tabs but a lot of people I know suggest not to since matte is said to make the default Samsung soft nib easily wear out, so this seems to be a good workaround to it.
Matte screen protector will wear off this tip much faster
I use matte screen protectors my tab and my 2-1 Samsung’s. For me it’s a great drawing experience, they last about 6 months. I don’t mind replacing the nibs for the experience.

I used the staedtler one for a year and it stopped wearing off, could go on using it. With matte screen protector

I'm looking to get some good quality nibs for my Tab S7 s-pen. Currently the nib on the stock s-pen is the cotton/soft nib which is showing signs of wearing out.

These are are interchangeable. Downside is the triangle tip (head) here is smaller which makes it look thinner that’s all. Performance-wise there is no difference

I dropped my pen while writing and the nib started to vibrate a bit and it became deformed. I wanted to replace the s pen tip with Samsung services, but they said it would take between 5 and 20 days. It's ridiculous for just a nib change. I'm thinking of buying Staedler original nibs. Do you recommend them?
You can buy the Staedtler replacement nibs or S Pen replacement nibs from Amazon or AliExpress. There's no need for servicing unless the pen is really spoiled.

Does the spen of the s6 lite tablet support Staedler's nibs ? Do these nibs fit perfectly on the spen s6 lite ? You should have compared the original vs staedler nibs by showing how to put it inside the pen to show if they are too long or the different diameters of the nibs

Hi, I saw your review about these staedler nibs on google, particularly in "parkablogs". You said there that these nibs from staedler are slightly thinner than samsung nibs which is concerning. May I know if you have experienced breaking of these staedler nibs? Are they easy to break? Have you tried pressing intense pressure using these Staedler nibs? What are your thoughts about the durability of these nibs from Staedler compared to the nibs of Samsung?
They are only thinner at the tip. Samsung tip is more triangular. Staedtler tip is less so.

Hard is smooth on the glass, good for writing fast.

It will still wear down with time. These are cheap so if they wear down fast, just get more in advance

Use the metal nib remover to clip/hold the old nib tight and pull
Or just use nail clipper 😉
My hp pen nib got broken and I couldn’t find a good one to.’ .’ So I have to buy a new whole pen ?
If the pen nib is broken, just get the nib replacement. If the nib is stuck, heat one end of a paper clip and use that to melt and stick to the nib and pull it out.

You can. But the head is a bit thin. I recommend you buy the pen tips for the Wacom One Pen instead. Or buy the original ones on AliExpress tidd.ly/3JOQb4E

Really? Have you tried em? I've had to buy generic tips because Samsung doesn't offer the original ones, and all of them, except for the original ones, wear out very quickly :(. The Wacom ones last longer? According to your experience
