DRX going this far is something NO ONE predicted!
I thought like most other people that getting out of groups was their ceiling but they ended up taking the Former World Champions and the #1 LCK Seed! So insane.
DRX was the only team from LCK/LPL I would bet my house they are not winning worlds, and now I would sweat like crazy xD despite T1 being a favourite.

Chovy and Peanut are the biggest frauds Ive seen. Chovy is a stats padder, so afraid of affecting his kda, and peanut is a choker since 2017 and got exposed by a one trick kindred main.
Im glad lot of people are seeing Gen G for who they are now, a bunch of Zeri Yuumi abusers and egotistic chokers. They saw DRX pulling kindred in the EDG fight? Why did they not prepare? Why did they give Akali and Sylas to Zeka. Props to Zeka though, I didnt expect he will gap the Chokey with Ahri and Galio. It is bad drafting on Gen G's. Macro wise they were great game 1, then they fell off on the next games.
Zeka going from mediocre mid laner all year to best performing mid laner (imo) at Worlds is in-fucking-sane.
Zeka has had an amazing performance for sure, but he is only 2nd to Faker. Faker has been playing out of his mind the entire worlds from group stage all the way to the finals, filling all roles midlane that his team needed him to play.

@@deecee7073 Nah showmaker had a small champ pool this worlds. Faker has played all the different styles of mid: galio, lissandra, sylas, akali, viktor, azir, and ryze. Def most versatile mid.

A lot of his style what to stick in lane and not really move. Faker has been all over. Also sad we did not see Showmaker akali. It was god tier. Not to say showmaker was bad but Faker has had a terrific worlds. Zeka/Faker this worlds has been a class above.

Peanut was fine, it was Chovy and Ruler's Ego to play around them. Literally Korea's RNG with Uzi and raise the puppy strat. Peanut is capable of taking leads but he uses his lead to scout jungle where Chovy and Ruler can free farm CS. That is why Peanut gets caught sometimes in the jungle tryna clear wards and setting up vision just for Chovy and Ruler.
@@skrattaoppar9753 Peanut was not fine. His graves game was bad, his pathing was terrible, and got caught unnecessarily. In his trundle games he was pretty much invisible. And in his last Viego game, his reaction to the early kindred invade was atrocious, and he severely misplayed that early teamfight. He obv wasn't the only one with a bad performance, but come on, that was just tragic to watch.

I've seen him during regular season to have incredible pathing but most of the time, Chovy or Ruler would want him hover jungle so they can safely clear CS and why Peanut is always getting caught. This is a Team Fault at best and Peanut shouldn't take all the fall for GEN.

One : lck is just the best reigon by far, 4th seed in worlds finals, like lck deserves 6 seeds.
Two : chovy needs to change his playstyle to be more aggressive outside lane.

I can understand a fourth seed beating a first seed from a different region, because the play style is different. But beating a first seed from your own region who you have never won against. WOW
WE beating the GE Tigers is still a bigger upset. Bottom tier LPL team beating an undefeated meta defining juggernaught team that many thought were leagues above every other team in the world.

@@Linesweeper The thing is WE is from a different region, these two teams have never scrimmed before. You could be a weak team, but if your style counters the other region, you can still win. G2 was the best team in the world from 2019 to 2020, any KR team that face them gets crushed, but when they face LPL 3rd seed they still lose. Its about the stylistic counter.
DRX and Gen G is different. They played each other for a whole year and DRX has never WON. There is no surprises, they understand each other's champ pool and play style. In that scenario is not just about the strength difference like WE and Tigers, its about mental strength.
SN beating JDG and TES in 2020 was close, but SN was a 3rd seed, while DRX was a 4th seed who almost didn't make worlds and had to play through playins
