    1. Don’t water down your paint as it can make it streaky, instead to want a creamy consistency
    2. Use it a dry brush to blend your wet paint but make sure to wipe the brush off each time
    3. Use a little blue for the whites of the eyes/ mix each primary color with white
Lol this comment is more so for me than anyone else, I need to summarize your points to make sure I got it and I’m always rewatching your videos

I would start with following artists that you like. Then find things that you like from their work. Whether its color, shading, line or depht. Then just simply figure out how to incorporate that into your own work. You can watch tutorials or just simply the artist's process if you can't figure out how to replicate that :)

I find it important to never force myself to paint or draw as it often leaves me disliking it for a while. If you do it when you’re inspired and motivated then you will get much better results even if it means taking a few days or even months inbetween paintings /drawings.

I started taking up art again, so I’m pushing myself to learn acrylic, water color and oil based paints. Although I don’t have a lot of perspective or anatomy drawing experience, I keep winging it. Wipe your brushes as clean as possible on an old t-shirt or jeans before cleaning them with water. That way, your paint water doesn’t get too dirty. A nice tiny spray bottle is good for blending paints. You can spray it directly onto the canvas.

Awesome video! A couple things I noticed you may be able to help with. First, I see how you use about 1 dab of each of the paints and it lasted for a while. I end up using so much paint because its constantly drying out, which I will at times use a product to keep it from drying out. Another thing I noticed was the paint went on very neatly and "creamy" as you said. When I put the paint down it doesn't seem to look like that, rather its almost transparent; I try not to use much water at all. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it correctly, but I am not buying expensive paints or brushes either. I seem to give up out of frustration because the paint isn't "doing" what I see on videos.
    Thanks,
    Spencer

When you said "take a break from a painting" I thought you meant walk away, abandon it in the back of a drawer and restart several months later, which is what i do on a regular basis 😂 honestly, i recommend it. It often needs some time to look at it from a different perspective which can help getting a clear vision of where you want it to go and then working in doing that
