Allow me to address something you mentioned. While it is true that the air is recirculated, just like in your house, it is also true that the air is constantly being replaced. Cabin pressurization is controlled by a set of valves that constantly release cabin air to the outside. At the same time, air is constantly being introduced into the cabin from the engine compressor vanes. It is cooled, compressed, cooled again, and even provides the power to run the cabin air conditioning. New air is always coming in, and old air is constantly going out. It is fairly dry air, so hydrate yourself. If your aircraft suddenly smells like fried chicken, it means that a bird was sucked into one of the engines. Small birds are no problem. Larger birds, like geese...well, ask Sully about what happens then. Is this all correct? Yes, I was a commercial pilot.
i think i made the mistake of flying China Southern Air fro the UK to Cambodia .. however , I have to change planes at Guangzhou Baiyun, have you been thru this airport? any suggestions? not stressing at all hehehe
I’ve never flown where I had to change planes in China, but if I were you, I would allocate time for the transfer and make sure you bring all of your documentation for your entire trip
Sleepers are a must! Compression socks or sleeves permanently seat cushion for flights over 8hrs will do wonders! A sling if you are in economy seats! And eye mask! N electrolyte packs! Don't need to much water
probably TMI, but if you want to eat whatever you want out of boredom and fart stress free on a flight, there's anti-flatulence underwear you could buy and equip yourself with. The UK brand 'Shreddies ' is pretty legit, and I have battle-tested their undershort in the office, hanging out with friends, etc.
Bruh... i see a lot of "influencers" using the words survive economy as if its hell on earth and you're too used to flying first or business so you use negative connotations such as "survive" smh...
lol I'm 170 cm and hate being squished in small spaces, so yes being on a LONG HAUL flight in general is kind of my own hell. I always fly economy bruh

Compression socks also help reduce the risk of blood clots because of the lack of activity.
