- A mother from Phoenix, north of Durban, says if police had acted against a well-known gang leader, and enforced a restraining order she had taken out against him, her son would still be alive. 16-year-old, Kyle Govindsamy, was shot multiple times outside his house by known perpetrators last week.
No-one has been arrested. Family members say they have lost all faith in the justice system.
