- Angry residents of Phoenix, north of Durban, brought the area to a standstill, demanding water from the eThekwini municipality. They say they haven't had running water for over two years. Municipal officials say they met with residents at the weekend to discuss the water crisis.

Kzn is honestly a failed state. The public hospitals are in a worse condition than those in Gaza, the roads have potholes so big they should probably be called sinkholes, we often get non-loadshedding power cuts, and now apparently areas are without water too. Honestly, if KZN votes the ANC in again, we deserve what we have and what we get

This water issue has been going on for YEARS now and eThekwini has every excuse in the book, the water closes anytime in the day and only returns at 04:00 the next day... most of Phoenix wouldn't have had water for more than 12 hours out of a 24 hours day in the past 3 years and yet the accounts are Insane...how is that POSSIBLE...

Phoenix holds over 1.4 million people , out of the 1.4 million just a few was allowed to go to work wich was our essentials example doctors nurses etc
