2:45 - I do not condone White Lithium grease as a lubricant given that the wood dust will cling to the grease and cause the grease to congeal, and it becomes a real mess to clean. I would use WD 40 or dry lubricant. Thin oil like 3 in 1 is a good bet.
All in all, like all machinery, preventative maintenance is planned maintenance and it can be once a month or every 3 or 4 months, depending on the number of hours in use. Thank you.
