I hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving Tom. I think Grandpa had the 4 1/2 foot sickle bar for his Cub. I took the grass board off his as we only used it for cleaning up around the farm. Parade ready or not, your paint job looks much better than the paint that fades to orange or pink. Between you and Farmall Fanatic, I'm starting to miss working with a Cub.

Dads was the shorter one too. I can’t believe I’ve found two intact grass boards. Haha. Thank you, I’ve used that paint for a long time and it holds well. Farm family center used to sell IH red and it faded orange. Ace Hardware has IH red that fades pink. It’s too bad because the cans are bigger and I like the spray tip. The Rustoleum IH red cones in a quart can or gallon can too. Ido a lot with that oil paint with a brush. It blends well and the brush strokes don’t really show. I like the 55-57 grills and when FF bought one, I knew I “needed” one. I hope you had a good thanksgiving and have a good weekend. Thank you

Happy Thanksgiving! That was pretty cool you have an original swathboard. I had to do a fair amount of research to come up with a pattern for my JD #5. You think that would have been simple, but not so much. I broke it this last hay season on the last cut I was making (don't ask), so I will be making another this winter.

I think that’s what mine is for, a number 5 or 8. It has the yellow stenciling on green. I’ve put it in a couple of videos. I have a couple of aftermarket metal ones that I normally use. Thank You for watching

Every Saturday night let's gather around the cracking fire while Old Farmer Tom tells us ghost stories . Get you stuffed animals and blankets people we are in for a long winter's tale of ghost , goblins and what ever else is hiding out in Old Farmer's Tom's homestead. Hot cider or Hot chocolate?

Where my Grandfather lived in a small town in Nebraska everyday at noon they blow the tornado siren so the farmers know its lunchtime or dinner. It always freaked me out when we were hunting.

Thanks for another interesting video. I am hoping I can remember some of this stuff so that I can apply it to my Cubs in the spring. I can always rewatch of course. 😢 You say some of the smoke cleared up after you ran it sorta hard, what do you attribute that to? Have you heard of an add on that allows for lower speed in first? Seems like I have, but not as sharp as I once was. 86 here today, not complaining, bragging! Stan here.

Howard made a rotovator (rototiller) that came with a gear reduction because 1st was too fast. I’ve never seen one up close, so I don’t know exactly how it works. Some mechanics have told me to run them hard and see if it clears the carbon out from setting. I hope you have a good weekend and thank you for watching
