Hey guys! Today we are doing the most laid back and LONG unboxing I think we have ever done! Usually when I film a bunch of boxes together it takes me multiple hours and then I cut it down to 30ish minutes but this time I barely cut out my stream of consciousness thoughts, random comments, pauses, and other things that I usually try to keep to a minimum (though I usually fail to keep things short and sweet)! However, I think this one was so laid back that I lost my nervous energy that my videos typically have so I start seeming a little sleepy toward the end lol. Let me know if you like this longer unboxing format and we can throw it in to the mix as well! Love ya💖 P.S. I accidentally cut out a portion of the video when I was talking about the book subscription. The hot chocolate flavor was Salted caramel and I also got a thing of earl gray tea and that’s why I started talking about the tea I like. That whole section must have accidentally gotten deleted while I was editing. So sorry for leaving out those items and the random jump to talking about tea!
Use Greek yogurt for sunburn, not aloe. Put the Greek yogurt on, leave on for 15-20 min and wash off. Aloe dries the skin out and cause skin cancer in the future. Greek yogurt puts nutrients back in your skin. Can also add honey if the burn is really bad.
honestly Alexandria, I would be so happy if you did more LONGGGG form content like this.. some people may complain but to me, most of all popular youtubers have switched to doing mainly short form content (tiktok, youtube shorts, etc) over the past 5 years, and rarely even post long form content anymore 😭 your videos are so calming and fun to watch, and being one of those few who still tries with longer content is appreciated by the majority of us 💙

My grandparents used to have small wooden ducks. When I was little and would visit them, I would hide them before I left. Most time my grandfather would find them and a few time he would call and ask where they were. When both my grandparents died, my mother took the ducks and because hiding them was a thing between me and Grampy. Thanks for mentioning your squirrels; it brought back such great memories. 😊

When I was graduating college, I bought a bag of plastic cowboys and Indians from the dollar store and hid them all over the office of one of my favourite professors (who taught classes on Native American literature). She later told me she was still finding them years after, up to when she eventually moved offices. She still keeps a couple in the new office for a chuckle! 😊
Watching your channel encouraged me to go thrifting! I found a super tarnished silver butter dish for $3 and polished it right up! You can see your reflection in it and the stamping on the back is from 1875!
If I may suggest, stick to the small individual vintage/antique stores. Unfortunately, goodwill and value village (I don’t know if you have those where you live) have both gotten so expensive and the quality has dropped. I’ve found better items and better prices at the smaller businesses. Just a tip from a lifetime thifter. Happy hunting!

My favorite thrifted things I have are a diary and a photo album of a chubby baby. The diary is from the early 1900’s and she was a nurse just out of school. My favorite entry is her complaining about the uselessness of men 😂

I have the three FUNKO pop figures of Blink-182 when they did their naked music video. So they’re little tattooed pierced and naked (but censored with a little pixel spot) men and I hide them in my living room until a neighbor comes over and finds them. Then I rehide them. I just like shocking my elderly (but good humored) neighbors 😂
My husband and I take turns hiding a little korok statue around our house. Koroks are little critters from Legend of Zelda that are hidden throughout the game. They say, "Yahaha!" so when we find one, we yell it across the house 😄

My favorite sims TH-camr started posting so many 90+ minute videos and I love it SO much. For me personally when I want short form content I'm just going to scroll TikTok or IG reels. I love when TH-cam videos feel like a whole little movie. Bring on the 2 hour videos!
I play videos while I'm working, and it helps me to stay off my phone. I love long form content. If I'm constantly scrolling, i never get any work done.

4:17 we have a skating rink in my town, started going in the late 80s, top place to have your birthday party, and a field trip place for school once a month for good grades or something, but I went every Saturday for almost 10 years, even had custom speed skates that were teal.
TIP: I use the notes app in my phone (like you mentioned not working) BUT I had to set alarms to go off every so often to check my notes, now I can remember on my own and for important things I write it in my calendar with an alarm, for apts I’ll set one for the night before snd one for the day of. Maybe give it a try:)

Yes, I'm a grandma and my grandkids do jokes on us all of the time. We usually get them back good. We have a blast. We have 4 grandkids, we love it.😊

YES ❤️🥲✨ the longer videos give it so much more of an old-school TH-cam video feeling. as if you’re sitting there with the person while they’re going each item. agreeably rushing them is very anxiety inducing lol, and also gives the effect that it’s less personal than you are amazingly capable of. 🥰 THESE feel like you aren’t stressed, and in return it truly helps those of us looking for a lil peace in the day to healthily disassociate for a while❤️ thank you for being you.

I have the three FUNKO pop figures of Blink-182 when they did their naked music video. So they’re little tattooed pierced and naked (but censored with a little pixel spot) men and I hide them in my living room until a neighbor comes over and finds them. Then I rehide them. I just like shocking my elderly (but good humored) neighbors 😂
My husband and I take turns hiding a little korok statue around our house. Koroks are little critters from Legend of Zelda that are hidden throughout the game. They say, "Yahaha!" so when we find one, we yell it across the house 😄

The tea you are talking about might be a London Fog from starbucks. It's my friends favorite tea drink and she gets it with lavender syrup.

My favorite sims TH-camr started posting so many 90+ minute videos and I love it SO much. For me personally when I want short form content I'm just going to scroll TikTok or IG reels. I love when TH-cam videos feel like a whole little movie. Bring on the 2 hour videos!
I play videos while I'm working, and it helps me to stay off my phone. I love long form content. If I'm constantly scrolling, i never get any work done.

4:17 we have a skating rink in my town, started going in the late 80s, top place to have your birthday party, and a field trip place for school once a month for good grades or something, but I went every Saturday for almost 10 years, even had custom speed skates that were teal.
When you were talking about tea I wonder if you were referencing a London Fog! It’s an Earl Grey with milk and sweetener :) one of my favs!
TIP: I use the notes app in my phone (like you mentioned not working) BUT I had to set alarms to go off every so often to check my notes, now I can remember on my own and for important things I write it in my calendar with an alarm, for apts I’ll set one for the night before snd one for the day of. Maybe give it a try:)

I myself don’t journal, I’ve tried, and failed multiple times…😅 But my ADHD self loves collecting stationary supplies, craft supplies, puzzles, board games, books 📚…. I’m a crow/squirrel. I like shiny unique things, and I store them everywhere….😂
