  • This video demonstrates using #Autodesk Fusion 360 to create a simple model for 3D Printing. It's easy to follow and understand, even if you never used Fusion 360 before! If you want to take your 3d Printing to the next level or want to do commissioned prints then this is the video for you!

That is one of the most painless Fusion360 tutorials I have seen, thank you.

Printing my designs is the only reason that I started 3D printing two and a half years ago. I didn't care how the printer or slicer worked, I just wanted my prints. Now, things are different and I'm very interested in both the printers and slicers. It can be very frustrating to mess with them but it is also very rewarding when things are just right. Thanks!

As a mechanical designer, the natural progression for me was to print my designs. Like you, I didn't want to deal with the printer or slicer! Thanks for watching!

First time using Fusion 360. Per your instructions .. very easy for me to duplicate. Thanks!

You make it look so easy to use Fusion 360. You've worked with a CAD program and it shows. I'd love to learn but feel too old to learn! LOL! Thank you for the informative video. I'd enjoy seeing more and actually learn the program, thank you again.

You're never too old! I've been training people at the day job to use Autodesk Inventor, making designers out of them. You can do it! Thanks for watching!

Great video on the basics of Fusion360. I’m just getting into the phase of the hobby where you realize that you have to design your own stuff. I’ve found I like 360 over the other CAD’s because it feels more intuitive to me, but still learning and the basics are always helpful.

Thanks for this video. Being new in the layered dimensional world, I needed to see the simplicity of basic actions.

Stopped for the 3D printer info and found CAD info also. Just recently downloaded the personal version of Fusion 360. Slowly getting up to speed on the new to me software. Your tutorials have been very helpful and easy to follow. I have had some work experience with Creo, NX, and Solid Edge. Fusion so far is more intuitive to me.

I like Freecad. I've tried others but prefer Freecad as I've never got on with others

I tried it, but there was too many errors and issues with no information or documentation where I did nothing wrong. I switched to F360 recently and it is so effortless to make good designs.

I started with FreeCad but found it a bit frustrating. I switched to Tinkercad and, though it seems simplistic, it allows me to do everything that I need to do to create my designs.

@@baxrok2. Tinkercad seems so limiting to me. (at least when I used it last) I couldn't make any changes to a placed object. You want a cube to have rounded corners? You're out of luck because Tinkercad doesn't even support that. I hope they have changed it by now, but all I really find that is useful in it is the circuit builder.

I watch this to learn how to 3-D print my drawing. I select export there are choices to make like STL files and something else I don’t know but I can’t get it to print.

I haven't run into that issue. Have you tried it as 3mf file?
