CJ is such a God tier vocalist. This entire track is just too much heat. It shits on everything that has dropped this year for sure 🔥
Not sure if anyone else caught it but he uses the Lorna Shore lyric, “The immortal question, when will you learn your fucking lesson?“ for the last breakdown with that nasty tongue noise he spewed out

The name of the band combines Lorna and signs of the swarm. Immortal from Lorna and then from signs of the swarm, disfigured images is where disfigurement comes from

Such great vocals....just paired with very generic sounding instruments. I still absolutely love it. But just imagine if this same song was produced with Lorna Shore. Would be so much cleaner sounding.

@@aprioris.knowledge2765 well for one the production quality could be better. If Josh Schroeder produced it would sound waayyy better.
For two, it seems like it's too focused on the vocals and the instruments just don't sound very good to me...and i mean guitar solos are guitar solos, theres not much difference. But I've heard way better from some of the recent albums of the past 2 years that outshine this.
@@Messiahbolicalx agreed mostly. Instrumentals are kinda weakly produced. Drums sound muffled and programmed. Guitar isn’t loud enough honestly and the tone is also just nothin special

The dude isn't good live and I saw him with LS and SOTS...most overrated ever after seeing him barely give effort live and you could hear how much the studio helps him is above normal.

For anyone interested, you can find a tutorial for that on TH-cam by searching Kyle Williams Gurgle Technique. Though I think CJ takes that and combines it with elements of the zombie scream to make a more unique tone.
