Hypa Hypa was the introduction of the new clean vocalist. Reactions to EC's content getting blocked is not that unusual but in most cases one can get it cleared. They have reacted to reactions on their channel! If you like to check songs with the original singer: Crystals (2015), one of their most serious songs (about drug addiction) and one of the most famous from that era (people referred to Mindreader as Crystals part 2) MC Thunder (2017), it's a story telling video (subtitles available) with the band not appearing (well, the drummer has a cameo). They have a befriended youtuber / streamer named HandOfBlood (aka Hänno) starring in the clip. He is also part of the dance crew at the end of Hypa Hypa (dark curly wig, silver glitter jacket) and returns in MC THunder II - Dancing Like a Ninja (2020) (with the new singer). VIP (2017) which shows that they experimented with different styles even back then. And of course Muffin Purper Gurk (2012) which is a fan favourite although nobody actually knows why (that's not really true but nostalgia seem to play a big part in it)
We Butter The Bread With Butter (or WBTBWB for short, and yes, that's a Band name) did an amazing Deathcore Cover of Hypa Hypa. And Saltatio Mortis did an amazing Medieval style cover.
EC is so beloved because 1) They take their music seriously, just 2) Not themselves.Which is remarkably refreshing. When creativity is limited to seriousness, you lose half the potential.
Btw. the reason *WHY* the video was blocked is because you did not "appease the reaction gods". There is a pretty strict rule that youtube enforces when it comes to reactions to videos. Namely that it should not be uninterrupted in that you could theoretically forgo the original video and watch the reaction. Reason for that rule is simple, really. Copyright claims and without altering the video does not 100% qualify for "Fair Use" as to large parts it is not transformative. Abiding by that rule is rather easy. Either pausing the video or interrupting it with comments. The first is way more effective. Some reaction channels have some distortion overlay above the video so it can't be substituted for the original video. And it more often than not works. But it is not fully 100% effective ...

I think Hypa Hypa was the first song they put out with the new singer, Niko. If you watch some of the older ones like MC Thunder 1 and 2, those are before Niko joined, and had another vocalist. Most of their music is humor/parody styled, Mindreader is the first actually serious song I can think of, with Niko (at least for songs with videos). Back before Hypa Hypa, they were more of a mix of straight up heavy/serious and some humor like MC Thunder.
The MV with Hypa Hypa is the first song with the new singer Nico (He was the singer of a band called To The Rats and Wolves). Before they had Sushi, who is now the singer of Ghostkid. Because of their mixture of music with Nico being completely into this as well they got a sudden Hype in 2020. They just do music they want to do and have fun with. Hypa Hypa was created to bring bright light into the dark times of COVID-19. I love them, they are awesome :)
Electric callboys gives a fuck about copyrights, you can show the whole video, ine guy was striked and the band wrote to youtube, to take the strike back.
