@@yammmit its better for street is what i meant, if ure gonna take it to the track or want performance then the sti for sure, but for street like big cities, or with traffic, and some casual racing, the wrx is better, and if u wanna mod it those 9k u save by getting the wrx instead of the sti (using the 2020 for comparison since its the one i remember), u will surely have an sti killer
Man I’ve been looking up video after video of people shifting this car and I just absolutely cannot control 1st to 2ed and shifting fast - I can rev it up to 3500-4000 then it wants to drop 1500-2000 rpm with the clutch in till it’s smooth
Mustang if you like whipping the ass end around on pavement, Subaru if you'd prefer to hug the corners at unsafe speeds/live in an area with bad weather. Either way, get the 6 speed lol.

What are you using to hold the access port. My holder broke lol and I am looking for a replacement holder one that will fit inside the car in the remote area you have yours.
I wouldn’t change it to MAP sensor in a car with a functioning EGR system, especially this engine. If you want to know why, pull out your MAP sensor and take a look at it and shine a light down in that manifold. You’ll be shocked at all the residue, which is normal for this car. EGR must be deleted for a MAP based config.

does a little bit of julting, or jerking when shifting damage the car at all? im new to driving manuals and my wrx is hard to shift smoothly into 2nd and 3rd

Cobb Accessport! Remote tuner that can re-map the ECU, and give credible feedback to the car's mainframe computer. They are a must if tuning these.

What did you end up getting? The subaru and mustang are quite different. Not In the same way focus rs and wrx are compared

Its a Cobb Access port probably the V3. Used for OTS tunes when you start putting performance mods on.

Not notably no. Just try to get out of the habit. As long it's not shaking a bunch and you can't smell the clutch clearly you should be fine.
