I'm on the edge of buying one for hunting for the simple reason is I track and still hunt 90% of the time and the sheer ease of carrying one is worth it!!! To be able to put a nice two point or single point sling set-up on a gun and have it hang at the ready position across chest hands free would be awesome. Having the overall length of the gun be as long as my arrows I bow hunt with allows gun to hung off chest height and being 5'9 that leaves plenty of room to go hands free and not jam barrel into ground and still be at the ready position would be a tremendous positive. Now I'm 49yrs old and my hunting partner (Dad) is 76. He is VERY adamite that an AR doesn't belong anywhere near the woods it's a military and police gun in his eyes. Although I don't agree and don't care what anyone hunts with as long as they are out in the woods it's I must admit a very different look and a hard mental barrier because of how I was brought up. Luv the Stag guns though and strongly considering buying one for next deer season!!!!
Ive taken hogs, deer, antelope, bear and lots of predators with my AR platform rifles. They are my Go-to for most of my north American hunting
