Did two sets on each arm, 2nd set felt a lot less sore. Thank you
Happy to help!
This put me in tears almost I can’t do it!
Go easy at first. Also check out a full length video I have on the same topic that has more info.
great. the massage gun really helped.
Great to hear!
Only exercise which really helped. Improved my pain by 80%, but it never really ever disappears. Thanks for the video.
I have another video on biceps tendonitis exercise and another full length video on how to treat biceps tendonitis. You may want to check them out. Good luck!
@@OcraMedHealthOK, thanks a lot.
Comments gone
Hey doc, I literally just did this to alleviate some pain after having tight biceps from kettlebell snatches. Feeling a lot better thanks a bunch!
Happy to help!!
Been hurting a long time! Works!🎉 thank you Dr Joe!!!❤💪
Happy to help!!
actual instant relief, insane.
Awesome! Happy to help!
For a long term computer user this helped a lot, Getting a massage gun ASAP, bless ya doc
Absolutely INSTANT RELIEF...THANK YOU SO MUCH
Great to hear!
I forget about cross friction. I feel like that actually helped. Been doing all these exercises and modalities for it but forgot about that. I was using the lacrosse ball but I don't think I went across but instead up and down. That might not have been focused enough because there's more surface area on the ball.
Cross friction is a great technique!
Thank you so much
Happy to help my friend!
This just helped me figure out that I have a rotator cuff problem too, apart from the medial scapula pain that I have😅 at least now I know why my bicep hurt. Thanks a lot for your reel
Happy to help! Good luck!
Thanks for the great info! My arm just feel so uncomfortable, even when im doing pushing exercises i feel the pain too
Happy to help!!
Thanks a lot 🙏
You're welcome!
it friggin worked!!!
Awesome!!
My pain is between my bicep and my tricep lower down from the shoulder , and it numbs my whole arm when I use it, I can't even work out now. What could it be?
Could be a pinched nerve. I would have it evaluated. In the meantime, I have a recent full length video I did on that topic you might want to check out.
I actually may have this, I bow hunt and I was sighting in my pins. I pulled my arrows out like I was doing a front lateral raise and the arrows were tough to get out. I have pain in my back shoulder/scapula and a bit in my front shoulder
I have 2 or 3 other more detailed videos on biceps tendonitis you may want to check out then. Good luck!!
HELLO SIR
I AM NOT ABLE TO RAISE MY SHOULDER AT FRONT BUT AS LATERAL I WILL ABLE TO
CAN THE TENDON CURABLE AT HOME
I have a full length video on biceps tendonitis on my channel you may want to watch. Good luck!
How often should I perform the cross-friction massage and use the massage gun?
You can do it daily. However, if you feel sore from doing it, skip a day. Good luck!!
Hey, I’ve had this for about 7 months. I watched your full video on this too, I’m much better. However it’s not completely gone. Does this go away completely? It seems like my arm is at 75% instead of 100. Should I continue resting for another 4 months or so? Or just take it easy doing push ups, pull ups, biscep curls and bench press? Those are the only exercises I do anyway. Am I safe? Thanks Doc
It should heal completely unless there is a tear or other injury. However, the exercises that you do can definitely aggravate the condition. Good luck!
Idk if i have this, but i cant lift heavy with my left arm anymore, feel pain when i lean left shoulder and bsck against a wall. Also after doing this i coudl barely lift left arm up. Any suggestion, sorry thats the best way i can describe it
It really could be any number of things. I would set up a time to have it evaluated by a professional so you can get to the bottom of it. Good luck!!!
What’s the next step? I’ve been dealing with this for months. Done rotator cuff stuff. Bicep stetches daily along with bicep tendon eccentrics. Start with the dumbbell overhead and slowly go down. I’m ready to just stop lifting at this point but want to continue so badly. Can doing any pushing movements without pain for the next week.
Check out the full length video I have on biceps tendonitis. Much more info on it.
Stopping lifting didn’t work for me to heal it. I didn’t lift for 6 months. Felt fine but as soon as I started lifting again it flared right back up
@@jvz1448 same bro I stopped lifting all school year last year and was doing rotator cuff exercises for like 6 months. Started lifting again and it started right back up.
@@jvz1448 been to two physical therapists and two doctors
@@wiish.4608I see that we are pretty similar, Ive also been dealing with biceps tendonitis, stopped lifting for like 1 year been doing a lot of external rotations but it didnt work. I see that you play escape from tarkov( me also) maybe its like the effect of poor posture because of a lot of hours spent in front of a computer 🤔
Anything else we can do? Certain exercises? Supplements? Heat or icing it?
Check out my channel. I have full length videos on treatment, exercises, etc.
I have this injury for to long… like about 1 month when the injurie will over what Shula I do beside not working out

Hi Joe
why does the pain occur for some people when they are in internal rotation and what can be done to fix it
Internal rotation can impinge upon the biceps tendons more creating the problem.
How frequently should this be done? Thanks
Daily is fine. If you feel soreness, do it every other day. Good
Luck!
What's actually happening herre that makes it feel better temporarily? Physiologically speaking. Thanks
Google shock wave therapy and that can give you a general idea of what happens to the soft tissue.
Will it fix it or only stop the pain?
Check out my full video on biceps tendonitis on my channel. It will help fix it. Good luck!
Doctor , could you please explain how that help and what cure it brings for long term ? Thanks
I have some full length videos on biceps tendonitis that provide a full explanation on the subject. Thanks!
@@OcraMedHealth I will check it out soon! Thanks !
Any correlation between this ailment and scrolling on phones and tablets ?
In my case there is ...
Scrolling on phones and tablets are generally bad for us.
Would you feel any tenderness near the bottom part of the bicep muscle for tendinitis?
Yes you can. Watch this video. It's much more detailed: th-cam.com/video/LWSbrsBtpKU/w-d-xo.html
It was literally the second time i was doing bicep curls and the next day i cant straighten my arms... But i can feel my tendons... Should i consult a doctor or it will resolve with proper rest? It has been 2 days but the pain is still there whenever i try to straighten my arms
I would have it evaluated by a therapist/doctor. Good luck!
My bicep is so painful and bringing my arm backwards to over my head is very painful do I have Biceps tendinitis?
Possibly. I have a much more detailed biceps tendinitis video on my channel that u should check out!
Hey man i have pain when i touch the side of my right bicep do you know any fixes
I have a full video on biceps tendinitis on my channel. Check it out! Good luck!
I’m confused watched a video saying do not massage it now your saying massage it

To have bicep tendinitis and it is also felt on the inside of my upper arm down to my forearm sometimes.
I would have it checked out. Might be a secondary injury going on also. Good luck!
@@OcraMedHealth that’s my problem I did have it checked out at Tucson Orthopedic group twice and the dr sent me to the elbow doc and his PA gave me a sheet of stretches that I couldn’t understand by the drawings. Nothing else. Then I went again and a different doctor pretty much dismissed me gave me no PT or anything. I’m a little peeved at the medical system. I’m going to try again with another ortho dr in my area that I saw for my hip. I would like to get a CT or MRI because it is in my dominant right arm where I’ve had two ganglion cysts one in my wrist which was surgically removed and the top of my hand taken care of with two steroid injections. I love your channel thank you for doing what your doing. Wish you were closer to AZ😊
I am confused my PT told me not to directly massage the affected area 😵
Doctors/therapist often have different ideas on how to treat the same type of injury.
I’m gonna try what you say ! I’ll let you know how it goes
Definitely! Good luck!
It works ☮️
Awesome!! Happy to help!
I do feel relief but does this help actually heal the problem? I’ve had this before in the past, but this time a couple months in and doesn’t seem to be healing. I’ve even taken the last three weeks off from gym to rest it.
Check out my full length video on biceps tendonitis for more information and treatments. Good luck!!
@@OcraMedHealth I was at wits and trying to figure this out so now at least I know where it’s coming from and that my tendons aren’t actually fried. It’s all pulsing down from shoulder. Thanks for the info and I will watch other vid!
...this won't work for slipped bicipital tendon, right?
For that, I would watch my full length video on biceps tendinitis. Good luck!
What causes it
Can be a number of reasons why people end up with biceps tendonitis. Check out this video for more information to that question: th-cam.com/video/LWSbrsBtpKU/w-d-xo.html
I got winged scapla on my right side and bicep tendinitis on my left.. 😑
I have a detailed video on scapular singing you should check out. And a more detailed biceps tendinitis video. Good luck!!
Is it okay to ice after
Yes. Good luck!
Does this work on distal bicep tendonitis as well, and can I use a massage ball? I actually used it on my tendon a couple days ago and it has been really sore since. Is this a good or bad sign? I would really appreciate an answer. Thanks
Yes, you can definitely use it for distal area!
@@OcraMedHealth Is soreness after the massage a good or bad sign?
@@Mimarsinan2s It's not uncommon.
@@OcraMedHealth nice answer
@@Mimarsinan2s kuzen tendinit mi var sende?
What if the ligament transverse humerus is allready fully ripped?
You will most likely have trouble keeping the biceps tendons in proper position.
@@OcraMedHealth that means surgery is necessary. There is really no other way around?
that tendon would tear if I kept working out?
Not sure what you are doing for training, but a tear is always a possibility (tears are far less common then injuries such as tendonitis). Avoid exercises that directly aggravate your injury. Good luck!
I don’t understand how rubbing a sore/injured tendon makes it better - seems like it would just injure it further
Google cross friction massage. Also shock wave therapy.
should i stop going to gym ??
No unless it is extremely flared up. You should be able to workout around it.
@@OcraMedHealththx! What exercise to focus on to help it?
How often should you do this
Every other day is usually good.
Can I use ice after for the soreness
This seems like poor advice.
1. Because I got this injury from incorrectly using my massage gun
2. Tendinitis is fixed by stretching and controlled exercises.
NOT antagonising the tendon directly inflaming it more
1. As you mentioned you got your injury from using your massage gun wrong. That is why I am showing how to correctly use it. 2. Soft tissue release therapies are highly effective at treating this type of injury.
Haha, you said you used your gun wrong. But it’s doctors advice that’s bad lmao.
@OcraMedHealth I used it over the whole muscle but got too close to the tendons which is how you are saying to use it. Antagonising the Tendon doesn't help, you need to loosen the muscles.
Really? What’s that gonna do?
Did you read through the comments? Did you see all the people that said it helped them?
Now my left wrist and elbow hurst
Cant win huh
For about 6 months I thought I had a front delt issue. Little did I know it was the bicep tendon. Thank you so much for this video and others on this topic!
Happy to help!!
👌🏾👌🏾
Lol I just did the knuckles and oh man I know that massage gun is going to hurt. I do imagine it will work though. Much thanks.
Happy to help! Good

doesnt help at all
There is no quick fix for biceps tendonitis and this was just a quick 60 second video offering a couple of tips. Here is a full length video on biceps tendonitis: th-cam.com/video/LWSbrsBtpKU/w-d-xo.html
@@OcraMedHealth alright, i will check it out, thanks
dont ever put a massage gun on your bicep tendon
Do a google search on shock wave therapy.
@@OcraMedHealthIt made it hurt even more
Not every therapy/technique is for everyone. Most people do respond quite well with this technique. Google shock wave therapy and you will see the theory on why it can be effective. If you haven't yet, I would get the area evaluated. Good luck!
It's not a permanent fix. What is the permanent fix?
