Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience shooting mushrooms & thank you for the tips. Another gratifying, enlightening, peaceful, time with oneself endeavour! Keep them coming!
Hi Trevor, Welcome to the channel, thanks for the comment, funny you should say about using a slide rail, I have just purchased one and am going to be trying it out in my next video, any tips on using one?
Very good, comprehensive guide to the subject. I have been photographing mushrooms for a couple of years and am preparing a talk to give to our camera club. Your video has reminded me of a couple of points to add in. The only thing I would do differently to you is some of the tidying up/cloning in PS. I can see some repeated areas in your image where the clone has picked up detail from one area and replicated it. I find the patch tool can often do a decent job.
Hi Fiona, Thanks for your comment, I'm really glad the video has helped. Photoshop has always been my nemesis, I use it as a means to an end, so comments like this are so helpful, I'll give that a go next time thank you :-) Good luck with your talk
Great video! I’ve been taking photos of mushrooms for years and I did not know they grow all year. I’ll definitely be looking for them in the spring at least. This type of photography is one of the biggest reasons to have a camera with a floppy screen. I’d highly recommend it. I think you’d like it a lot since you talked about having to lay down pretty often. (Personally I use Fuji X-T2 and 3 which has very nice 3 way tilting screens.)
Hey, welcome to the channel. Thanks for the comment , I’d love to see your mushroom photos if your ever on VERO I’m @keithguppy Thanks for the tip I’ll keep an eye out when I purchase my next camera.
Hi Patrick welcome to the channel, thanks for the comment, I was very disappointed with this too, I’ve had a few problems with my mic lately although I think this particular issue was when I bent down the mic moved closer to my mouth, schoolboy error unfortunately.
I think I may have listed all
Nocturnal animals 😅

Some great information, I use a slide rail but like the tape idea as less to carry.
