      Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I use a Nikon Z 105 mm macro when I shoot with the Nikon Z6 II, and a Tamron 90mm macro, when I shoot with my old Nikon D810 DSLR.

    Do you focus on the part nearest to the camera?

      Hi Ann,
      Yes, I generally focus on the part of the mushroom nearest to the camera. You can also focus a little bit further in on the mushroom, but I have had too many instances where the first part of the mushroom was out of focus. I feel that if the nearest part of the mushroom isn't sharp, then the image won't work and is straight for the trashcan. So this is an important point. Thanks for asking 🙂
