A little late; however, if you're (or someone else) still monitoring, what modifications were needed to fit the RE sway bar disconnects, in particular to the spring plate? As the disconnects I have come with a larger diameter bushing that is too loose on the spring plate bolts that came with the kit. I'm keen on not welding the plate provided and noticed that you have connected to spring plate, which is what I would like. Appreciated.
Miller Brothers Auto Repair woah that's a lot of money, so far I have about 5k in mind to restore my body and paint including motor bolt one haha. Axles and suspension will costs me another 5k.
Justin Boyy There's a big difference between restoring a Jeep yourself and hiring professionals to build it for you. Restoring Jeep CJ's is part of how we make a living, and we spared no expenses when building this Jeep for our customer. In addition, doing a nut and bolt restoration like this takes several hundred hours to complete with all the powder coating that's involved.
@@pubplays368 this particular jeep had $22,384 in parts costs alone, that does not include the costs for the blasting and powder coating of the frame, axles, skid plates, as well as the cost of extensive body work and a professional paint job (another $9531 in this example). To restore a jeep to this level of detail involves several hundred hours of labor as well. Your comment makes me believe that you have absolutely no idea how much it costs to run a professional business that is properly insured, well equipped, warranties their work, and employs highly trained professionals that are compensated fairly.
@@pubplays368 you are certainly entitled to your opinion. We didn't build this Jeep for ourselves, we built it to meet (and exceed) the expectations that our customer wanted.
You did a miracle, congratulations
Absolutely everything the Miller Brothers touch turns to gold.
Great restoration! The MB, CJ and '08 2 door JK are my favorites. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks! I have a soft spot in my heart for the 76-86 CJ's.
@@Millerbrothersautorepair I can see why, definitely warranted.

I have an almost identical CJ5 I restored down to the same color. What brand of roll bar cover is it? I cannot find one for a CJ5.
Perfect!
John Ballentine Thanks!

Did you have a parts list for the gas filler mod? Assuming it's a door and filler hose. Anything else?
I love this color. What RAL code is it?
very nice video and music
Justin Boyy Thank you!
Miller Brothers Auto Repair how much did it costs to rebuild? I have a 69 I'm restoring little by little
Justin Boyy Parts, labor, body work, and powder coating was just shy of $50k.

Alguien me podría ayudar a saber que año y qué motor ? trae un Jeep cj5 D de la serie 13098 mexicano
Whats the black you're putting on everything? spray paint? or something else?
All the black pieces have been media blasted and powder coated.
Nice, I have an 85 that needs similar restoration. What is the ballpark budget needed for a job like this?
$40-$50k
Around 5-10k if you do the labor yourself and just buy the parts. Most shops inflate their labor prices at a ridiculous rate!

@@Millerbrothersautorepair when you spend 10 grand on a paint job. It really makes anyone with common sense question your priorities.
