I come to your channel whenever I need to relax - after a workout, after my shift at work, even on long drives. Thank you for the wonder you put into the world.
Reminded me of the Twin Peaks title song as well! I think it was that the string-ish sound that's present towards the beginning of the track does a similar melodic move when it goes to the highest note of its sequence. As always, really great :)
Oh wow! Did not expect this, it's a bit different than your usual vibe but I like it! It feels darker, more cinematic and a little melancholic. I love that art work on the tray, fits great with that track!
REally love this one:written with Twin Peaks in mind? ;) And also thank for your Hsunted Hearts soundpack for Digitone: inspiring but moving above all!!!!
Simone Petraczek Thank you! I never have something specific in mind when I make music. Only following the sounds. The Twin Peaks comments have been around for years. I guess I'm just influences by that era. I usually don't realize it until someone mentiones it. It's just my vibe.
You are such an inspiration - is there any chance you would be able to comment as to the methodology behind creating these beautiful pieces on the digitakt? The evolving nature of this track is something special.
RDijt Thank you so much. I'm not sure what to tell you regarding how I do this. It is a lot of trial and error, resampling and just listening to the sounds to find out if they work and what other part might fit to them. I don't sit down with a whole track in my head, I mostly try to find a foundation that I like and I can build on. The rest is just going with the flow and trying to express my feelings with sounds. Sorry if this sounds so vague but that is just what I do.
Digiphex Electronics I don't know that song. Sorry. There is actually just one real chord in this track. The rest is happening when sequences of varying lengths align.
Daniel Carpinetti Thank you! I don't always record to cassette. But I simply enjoy it. It's easy and straight forward. I do like the sound, too. But that is not the point for me. It's about simple fun.
e schiller Thanks. I always use my own samples. In these tracks, the samples are super simple. Just basic one note drones. The actual sound design happens inside the Digitakt.

Reminds me somehow on the title song of Twin Peaks, but more ambient and less melodic :)
Tom Nussbaumer The bass sounds has a similar vibe, I guess. But that's a good thing, right?

So warm, love it. Did you use any analog outboard gear when capturing the samples?

If you could get David Sylvian to sing over that . . .
Digiphex Electronics I seem to have misplaced his number. Feel free to send it over if you have it :)
I hear some chords from "Darkest Dreaming" in here.

Hi. Your music is very inspiring. Thank you very much to share your music here.
Just one question: Why always to record on cassete tape?
Daniel Carpinetti Thank you! I don't always record to cassette. But I simply enjoy it. It's easy and straight forward. I do like the sound, too. But that is not the point for me. It's about simple fun.
Gigi masin vibe

Jogging House amazing news
Lovely. If you don't mind me asking, are these built in sounds or your own samples or both?
e schiller Thanks. I always use my own samples. In these tracks, the samples are super simple. Just basic one note drones. The actual sound design happens inside the Digitakt.
Rad. Nice work.
@@JoggingHouse Would love for you to do a sound design tutorial on the Digitakt, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
solongyouth Thanks. But I don't make tutorials. Sorry. It's just not my thing.
@@JoggingHouse No worries, I get that it's not for everyone. Great channel, I enjoy your music and videos very much.
