The emotions golfers face are universal to all golfers! It's basically 2-4 hours of highs and lows. No wonder it can be exhausting

Glad I could see a course nearby. I am in town maybe 3 weeks and may give this course a try. Are you just filming using a tripod and a go pro. Also how much editing are you doing. Video looks good. I will subscribe

Hey, thanks for the sub! If you look at my older videos (not as well done in my opinion) you'll see Cross Creek, Creekside, and Meadowlawn, which are all basically local courses. Meadowlawn is a little exec course that allows you to scratch the golf itch without much hassle.
As for filiming, I do it all on my iPhone 12 mini. I have a flexible tri-pod that I mount to my push cart and just mount to that. I've started using my DJI Osmo 3 gimbal again too. Same set up with the gimbal, just mount it to my tripod on my pushcart. Keeping it as hassle free as possible. I do quite a bit of editing (shot tracers, graphic layers, clips, etc.), which I find kind of fun and relaxing.

Call me crazy, but this is the guy I want to see golf with Rick Shiels.

You’re crazy. Thank you, but you’re crazy. Also, Rick has ignored all my invitations.

Salem is a tough course to begin with. Add in rain and soggy conditions and it will throw off anyone's game.

It's strange to me how Salem's rating and slope say it's a fairly easy course, but I think it's harder than a lot of courses around here that have much higher rating/slope. My guess is distance plays a big factor and the fact that you have to contend with a lot of trees doesn't factor as much as it should. Oh well, I love playing there either way.
