    When will Dr. Shan Guisinger be interviewed? I thought it would be today, as it was mentioned in the most recent Dr. Lisle and Dr. Howk Q&A. Thanks!

    "Nothing needed to support me, just support other people". That tells me all I need to know about Dr. Lome. So refreshing to listen to a subject matter expert focused on helping others rather than promoting themselves.

    As a Critical Care Cardiac nurse.....I totally see patient's rely on medication & surgeries as opposed to nutrition/exercise. It seems we have become compliant with "a pill will fix it".

      Sadly yes.

      @@CHEFAJ Interesting thing happening in health-care now is hospitals offering free gastric bypass in their benefits package for employees! I have 2 hospitals near me that some fellow nurses have accepted that benefit and received free gastric bypass' with employment.
      I am happy to say my hospital does NOT do that and instead offers free Nutritionist/ Dietitian services monthly and diet modification /exercise assistance for the entire employment. Totally free from the area the employees lives or the employees choice.

      @@RN-mn3jn Wow! you're fortunate to be in the hospital you work in.

      @@RN-mn3jn ...that is staggering!! And thank goodness you're where you are!! When I think of the energy a nurse needs just to do this work - the idea of bariatric surgery makes me cringe EVEN more - how happy would nurses with obesity issues be if they learned they could eat plenty of satisfying, energizing foods AND drop the weight/reverse issues... I hate the idea of a nurse on shift eating these micro-meals, let alone comprising the sh*t that most of the specialists advise they eat at those meals. Thank goodness for your hospital's work.

    You can't live without salt. It can very low sodium levels.

    • @CHEFAJ

    Should you eat fortified or unfortified nutritional yeast?

    • @CHEFAJ
      @CHEFAJ  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortified is a better choice.
