Bluff Master okay so I’m a bit late but something he didn’t address in the video is that you need to sim to the end of the first season before you switch the money from your transfer budget to your wage budget. Hope it helped
I did one a few weeks ago and it works 1.Give the player 17M Euro(wage) 2.Skip until next season and go to the same player then decrease his wage at any amount 3.I got 600 M Euros but if you want more then you can get more money if your offer more than 17M for the player.
i tested this out with a random newly started carreer and just simulated all the games, but when i wanted to give the player a realistic wage in the 2nd season , the menu was completely blank and i just couldn't propose a new wage to him.... After this i deleted this carreer and just started playing one of my older ones , but suddenly the transfer budget and wage budget where both set to zero so i don't now if i will be able to keep playing this carreer ... this really didn't work out well for me i guess I'm playing on xbox by the way

It didn't work.... I tried it with Stoke and I had 81MIL wage and I offered it... Later in January I offered the guy s cheaper contract and then he accepted and then I had 0Mil wage and 0mil transfer budget pls answer ASAP
That’s the downside to the Glitch, if it doesn’t work this happens. I’ve had it happen several times too. That’s why I suggested saving regularly, that way you can try again.

Tessie Lawal .. .. that’s why it’s so important to save prior to performing the glitch. That way, if this happens, drop back on the save and try again. 👍🏻
Luciano Bregita Yes mate. I’ve done it twice in 2 seasons with Leicester. Just remember to save before negotiating the new contract in case the glitch doesn’t work, that way, you can try again.

Just offer what you can mate. It will still work, but obviously not with a huge return.
