    This might be incredibly niche but could you guys talk about dinners with foreign heads of states? I'm especially curious about the experiences of the chefs trying to tailor the menu to the specific head of state, as well as what special security measures are put in place

    Hey Crooked! There’s a pretty crucial topic that I think all of us need some clarity on. Can someone please ask Alyssa where all her great knits are coming from?? They look like handknits and I’m so curious if she’s a knitter or someone else in her life is. (plus one of my favorite indie yarn dyers is doing a colorway inspired by Acadia National Park)

    What a great topic!! 👍🏻
    These are the BEST episodes.
    What is the transition like?
    I've always wondered why Democrats don't spend more time in smaller venues in opposition states and vice versa?
    How many teams encircle the president on the daily and who or what are they? How is the job structured? ( for a normal person interested in governing) Is it seasonal and issue pockets, with some daily and crisis points thrown in?
    It seems like such a HUGE job. How is it possible to organize? Or, does the job unfold as the needs arise because it is always impossible to get everything done?

    • @podsaveamerica
      @podsaveamerica  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@podsaveamerica Thank you. I would also be so interested in a video about the Crooked Media people. It's one thing to read a bio etc..but, after learning a bit more about what it might take to 'run a government', it has become clear that the team people are super smart but- what does that mean exactly? ...and what paths did everyone ake? Do you have to be from an Ivy league school? If you don't, would you ever end up in the right circles? Did one volunteer as a young, energetic newbie and with snappy brain and resilient personality learn to sink or swim? Do many people fall by the wayside during one's ascent? There is no other company or news/media/punditry group quite like this one so the stories of the presenters ...I'm sure everyone wonders.

    Have an episode with Alissa 1-2 times a week.
    Ideas:
    -protecting potus private time.
    -really take a personal look at a national concern (children at home with a non working parent during Covid) answering questions like, “why is it so stressful?” , “What is the economic loss?”
    How to coordinate POTUS and First Lady’s schedule?
    How do you prepare for state dinners?
    A review of the week’s news by Alyssa and a guest, from a woman’s point of view.

    This video just showed up on my feed, and I love this channel! Just one suggestion... is it possible for the channel regulars to use a proper camera or camcorder, position it just above your webcam, record to memory and then put it together during editing? If you can find a way to Fedex a camera to other guests and then get it shipped back, even better. The content is great but the blurry "Zoom quality" video is a let down.

    What happens (as an established pattern, so you don’t forget anything) in the first 2-3 hours after a major event takes place ? I’m thinking of large scale weather destruction or out of control fire or mass shooting or ??? Maybe pick one or two events that happened but are very different from each other as a way of explaining the process.
