Most days the ducks also spend some time free ranging before the sun sets. They typically spend that time in the stream but unfortunately it’s been all dried up for the past few days 🦆
Yes, if my ducks have anything to say about it. My Reuen duck will be just vibing and suddenly have the urge to run from one side of the coop to the other.
My all my animals are still trying to get used to their bedtime routine since I lost my chicken/duck coop to a fire and right now everyone is just living outside in a chicken run
Do they have a window or a light in their house? - My ducks have a night light in their house, but in the 30 seconds of darkness before the generator kicks in they always manage to kick their furniture (straw) around.

I hear most people say that when they are swimming, really fast underwater.
I mostly see duck zoomies when ducklings are first learning to swim and dive. As adults they only seem to do it when I clean out the pond
Mine does it first thing out of her bedroom in the morning. Dash, flap, try to fly, gallop, dive in pond, run for breakfast!

Food goes in the coop at night since my coop & run aren’t connected
