Adelaide is the best city to live, have a family and grow old. If you looking for excitement, Adelaide is not it. If you looking for peaceful life. Adelaide is it. Beautiful, clean peaceful city, people are kinds and generous.

I'm not exactly sure too many people would know about this, but a very sad end of an era occurred in Adelaide last year. The traffic signal on the corner of Jetty Road and Gordon Street in Glenelg, believed to have been the oldest traffic signal in mainland Australia still operating, was decommissioned and replaced with a standard LED one.
Because the main road is King William street, when one intersects, its called another name, as they didn't want the streets to cross a King.. So Rundle mall becomes Hindley, Grenfell st becomes Currie st etc.
Heres my top tips. 1. walk around city for a day maybe a Adelaide oval tour and the church next to it. 2. Glenelg is the tourist beach but only a average beach. 3. Southport beach has beautiful cliffs and stairway at sunset for photos summer only.4 Wine tour by bus any of them are great. 5. grab a car and put on the ferry to kangaroo island the ferry is expensive so grab some backpacker friends to share the cost. Once your over there enjoy some of the most pristine beaches you will feel like your the only people on the planet. Also theres caves and wildlife everywhere. Little sahara desert. Seals. Cheap camping with kangaroos. Beautiful place.
Great to hear people representing Southport, when I used to work at a hotel on Hindley street. Ahhhh Adelaide, the no. 1 most boring place in the world.
I've just been invited to apply for a Global Talent visa and am seriously considering settling in Adelaide, so this video is great! Can't travel due to Covid from overseas to check it out for myself so thanks for the tour
Please consider settling in another city!
@@jennanadebaum5471 why?
@@bl9150 because there's better places in Australia, than here
@@jennanadebaum5471 I've been granted Australian permanent residency since making my original comment, luckily it lets me live anywhere in Australia. Where would you recommend?
@@bl9150 I have read that Indi in Victoria is a place with friendly people, but unfortunately you cannot get into Victoria without a valid reason, as there's been another out brake of the coronavirus, a real bad outbreak
the adelaide zoo also has two pandas in it, the only two pandas in the southern hemeisphere
Definitely on my bucket list!
You'll love it
Machelle Hinkle you’ll need a bucket, for the vomit
@paul w You've popped up on a few comments. You seem bitter.
@paul w As working class as anyone could be from industrial NW England.
You don't know Adelaide very well.
Beautiful City !!!👍👍

Beautiful town. Hi black
@@ashetaabudu2178 yes it is Hi Asheta !
Black Corp how are you doing? I haven’t been to Adelaide before, I ca see people talking about the place...
6:07 Yep, the University of Adelaide is indeed fantastic. In the prestigious Group of Eight and a top 100 global institution.
I'm from Adelaide and I've never seen the central market that empty
Wow pressing that wine button made an ad pop up!
Bella Adelaide ❤❤
our city of Adelaide is the only city in the world surrounded by open Park Land.
Kaleb Arancelovic you mean unkept trees and grass where homeless people sleep? It’s a shithole
Nairobi has a park
@@stevenj6181 Adelaide's CBD is completely surrounded by numerous parks. Google's satellite map shows this
@@jorel4477 Every city in the world has homeless people. We just make their lives easier to bare with beautiful parklands that are maintained
Kaleb Arancelovic some are maintained, and they are ok. Not as nice as Brisbane’s, Melbournes or Sydney though. Many parts of the parklands are dead yellow lawn and poorly managed vegetation. Adelaide’s homeless pop isn’t that high. It’s all the other issues there that made me glad to leave and live somewhere nice.
Wow, excellent 👍
