I may have misinterpreted, but are you saying that the lotr is canon to WH because GW made some figures? If yes, how, though. lotr or most appropriately the legendariam was written before WH was even a thing and the verse isn't open domain like lovecraft the only one who had authority other than tolkien was who chose to be his only successor his son. other than them, no one can claim authority over lotr. The opposite, if you said "everything made by gw is canon" then that would logically include the LOTR tabletop game. This is a demonstration why "everything made by GW" isnt a workable model
