I may have misinterpreted, but are you saying that the lotr is canon to WH because GW made some figures? If yes, how, though. lotr or most appropriately the legendariam was written before WH was even a thing and the verse isn't open domain like lovecraft the only one who had authority other than tolkien was who chose to be his only successor his son. other than them, no one can claim authority over lotr. Please clarify. And good video. 👍
The opposite, if you said "everything made by gw is canon" then that would logically include the LOTR tabletop game. This is a demonstration why "everything made by GW" isnt a workable model

Honestly the aspect of “x is unknowable” just seems “anti reader” to me. The literal point of consuming fiction is to draw conclusions based upon what’s in it.
Love the video but I wish you didn't feel the need to spend the first 15% of the video justifying the video. You've got a subscriber for sure though, love it!
On twitter whilst talking about chaos being the same I would often times get told "we know thats not true" amongst other various non responses, I felt the more comtraversial lore (i.e anything about the old ones) needed a sort of primer.

there was the official French campaign for Ameton Epsilon, which was a Imperium vs Tyranid campaign, which had Genestealer cults rules way before the cults made a return in newer editions, and Two Hero profiles for the final scenario: Inquisitor Hull, a Psyker inquisitor in Terminator Armor. The Creature, a "Norn Queen Larva" (lore implied) born from the corpse of a downed hiveship which had all spells from the Tyranid codex at the time and was just a lumbering leviathan. Those two have been living rent free in my head for years, I've been making fanon out of both.
