I occasionally shot infrared (Kodak High Speed) many years ago before it was discontinued. The focus adjustment discussed can usually be managed by using a smaller f-stop and allowing depth of field to cover. I would expect this to prevail with large format cameras/lenses anyway. Roll film/35mm lenses used to have the infrared focus adjustment marked on the lens, in that you focused under normal light, noted your focus distance on the lens, and then moved that focus point a bit to line up with a marked infrared focus point. With the move to autofocus lenses, a lot this type of information disappeared from the lens barrel, so this is better done with older manual focus lenses.

Infrared is fascinating. Yea the sunflower one is just learning, and it was early in the roll. The later ones have a lot going for them all!
I think 14:59 is my absolute fav, and sounds like it was the one that you almost didn't take! Glad you did.

102 and a lot of bugs gotta track that spot down. Nice video, those first couple of shots are great please don't refer to them as mistakes those images are the essence of the magic of photography. They are high art.

I am very surprised that 30 year old infrared film produced any image, as it is very sensitive to heat and general aging. I have three 120 rolls of Konica Infrared 750 in the freezer, and this restored my expectations, as I was ready to throw it out on general principles. (Konica Infrared may have been the best general use infrared film ever made; much sharper and less grainy than Kodak's. Konica used to run a batch every year, sell it out, and then wait for the following year to do again. Never met the demand, and prices were high. Never explained why.)

I would love to see how it turns out if you end up giving it a go!
