I just feel so sad for Shaq. He's a massive superman fan and has wanted to branch out more and pay tribute to the character. Steel was the closest he could get to playing superman and the movie was just sad.
I feel sad too, he deserved better. Steel was a good character, I especially liked him in Superman The Animated Series. I really do wish that this movie could have been better, as I think that any DC or Marvel super hero I like has the potential for a movie or at least a significant part in one.
honestly, shaq being a superman fan actually boosts my likeness for him i'm personally not a superman fan, but people who are fans of superman usually are some of the best parts of the dc fandom. because of the movies, everyone asociates superman with being a boring character, however, the comics is completely different. the comics depict a very chill guy who loves his friends and humanity. he's not clark kent because he doesn't want people to know he's an alien, he's clark kent because he loves being among humans anyone who can look past those awful man of steel movies and see the true character of superman is always a good person in my book since they love the superman that helps a young girl from game-ending herself and not hate on the superman that flys through a populated office building
What’s so funny to me is that the actor who played Lenny Luthor in Superman 4 eventually went on to play actual Lex Luthor in Supergirl. And he’s really good as Lex too.
Yeah I can't remember much about the show or the movie but I remember when it came out and I enjoyed it. It feels alot like the power rangers movie in how they approached it.
Honestly, 'Son of the Mask' is a film I wouldn't mind if it had stuck to the comic. It'd be interesting to see Jamie Kennedy put on the mask and go around killing people. Then the baby kills people. Then the dog kills people. And by the end of the film, everyone's dead Happy ending :)

I’m honestly shocked max steel was rated so low. Granted I watched it only once years ago and remember nothing of it but I didn’t think it was that bad and thought the cg was really good for what the budget was. Only complaints I can remember having was the climax was mid compared to the elementor fight and there could’ve been more forms, again, especially in the climax.

In general I loved a lot of those janky CGI dog mouth movies. I watched both Cats and Dogs movies, most of the Buddies movies, and of course Underdog. I’d say Underdog was kid me’s least favorite but that’s just because I don’t like superheroes that much (with exceptions) so I found the Saturday morning cartoon style of Underdog very hard to watch more than once even as a kid 😂

i gotta be honest: as a kid watching the film on theaters when it was released, I had no perception of what movies were bad and terrible like how I had a massive love for the Transformers movies solely because of the CGI. That's why I actually enjoyed this movie more than I should. Now that I'm older, I realized the criticism doesn't necessarily mentions some of its most redeeming qualities such as the visuals and stuff, so I also kinda agree that while the pacing and story felt too laid out or something, the film does have some likable elements that just feel undermined due to every other negative aspect.

DUUUDE the escape scene from Fant4stic is my favorite scene! The Sci-fi horror of it was something new and not too common for a super hero film. What really got me was Reed and Ben's interaction. How unbelievably scared and confused Ben was. And him pleading for Reed not to leave him was really well acted in my opinion.

My child Brain remember the TV show been quite good and considering how much of a critique I was what I watched...That probably means it was quite good. I actually kinda liked Max Steel too. I barely watched the show but the movie was nice to watch because it was simple, a superhero movie, and wasn’t a marvel movie. So it was a nice change of pace.
I definitely don't think the movie was the best but I don't think it deserved a 0 score on rotten tomatoes

I was/am a fan of the original Max Steel line of toys, tv show and movies and even to the dislike of many (here in Mexico) I liked the reboot, even if it was different, I still quite enjoyed it. When the movie was announced I was stoked to see it, just to arrive on the theater at the day it was supposed to come out, just to see it wasn't going to be released on my city, I was so pissed I ended up seeing it online, and I actually liked it, but was still pissed…
Ironic that the 0% rotten tomatoes film was the highest grossing one on this list per 18:17. Cannot even fathom just how much 1 trillion, if not 6.3 trillion dollars is worth and it's definitely such real and accurate information that in no way can be wrong.

DUUUDE the escape scene from Fant4stic is my favorite scene! The Sci-fi horror of it was something new and not too common for a super hero film. What really got me was Reed and Ben's interaction. How unbelievably scared and confused Ben was. And him pleading for Reed not to leave him was really well acted in my opinion.
That would be great an all were it not for the fact that THE FANTASTIC FOUR COMICS WEREN’T HORROR COMICS!

It was all SORTA grounded and human just to have these kids get into that massive accident and left disfigured and terrified. Especially Ben and Reed. Totally not a typical Fantastic 4 thing, but it's still a great concept.
I saw Max Steel on my 13th birthday with some friends. Had no clue what it was about and vaguely remembered the Cartoon Network show. We were the only people in the theater and it was one of the most forgettable movies I’ve ever seen. This video unlocked that core memory for me.

Dude, Max Steel was my absolute favorite show as a kid, I can’t believe how bad the movie was. I was so exited for it, but when I watched it I felt like I wanted to throw up sometimes.
I genuinely think the only reason I liked Elektra so much was because
1. HUGE crush on jennifer garner growing up
2. One of the few dvds i owned growing up broke and going through a huge superhero phase

Oh how I would've loved to see that...I feel like I'm not going to say anything new, but I'm honestly tired of dark and gritty reboots. Thankfully the fad is pretty much dead at this point.
I feel like the Slater script could be a good basis for a good Fantastic Four movie albeit cutting some of the villains to feel less cluttered and saving Doom and Galactus for potential sequels and build upon on some elements of the script

My child Brain remember the TV show been quite good and considering how much of a critique I was what I watched...That probably means it was quite good. I remember some good storylines good set pieces and generally not a single dimension characters. I think I might give it a rewatch and see if it was actually that good.
The fantastic four and doctor doom in the comics are my favorite fictional characters ever and I need them to be done justice.
I watched the entirety of all the Max Steel series, and honestly I didn't think the movie was all that bad. Granted, it's no MCU film, of course not, but I enjoyed it enough to watch more than once
All memes and jokes aside, I honestly thought Morbius was... Fine. It's not the best movie I've ever seen, but I've definitely watched way worse. Look at the Asylum for that.
