- Halsema Highway was considered one of the most dangerous highways in the world and the highest point is about 7,400 ft above sea level!! Landslides, mud slides, and falling rocks are common along this road. Extreme foggy conditions and slippery roads during rainy season complicate the driving, turning the road even more dangerous. But the road has now improved, much more car friendly and the view is phenomenal! Make sure to always be careful in driving guys!

wow ..thanks for posting. I passed through Halsema Highway when I went to Mankayan and Buguias, Benguet in 1986. The highway then was very dangerous, it was unpaved small road with bigger rocks in the road that made our ride rough. It's better now because it's cemented..
Road alertness is a must when travelling the Halsema Highway.

If you're going back to Manila after your Sagada experience, try the Halsema Highway (Sagada-Baguio) route. From Sagada, take the road to Baguio to go back to Manila. If offers better views. I hope you can go back on January or February, those are the coldest months.
The road you took literally looks scary, the cliffs and fogs omg. Be safe!!

Since youre now in my hometown, ill give some suggestions of places to visit. . *sumaging cave *pungas falls *bomodok falls * blue soil *hanging coffins *crystal cave ..etc... There are lots of beautiful western and native cafes and b&b from the center Poblacion and along the road going to Sumaging Cave..please do take care as you went there on rainy season

Oh my that is a scary road especially when it's wet and foggy. Amazing views of this beautiful area make it worth while. A wonderful video and thanks for risking your life for us so we can see :)
It is not scary though if u get used..specially before that the road is so rough,unpaved. Mt province to baguio travels 7 hrs but now that was paved 4 hrs...actually for us who get used we can still enjoy sleep specially if it is raining and the bus plays country songs😂😂

Because it’s already improved, the road is already two way and paved that’s why it only takes 4-5 hrs from Baguio City to Mt.prov., it used to 8 hrs when it was a bumpy dirt road.

My parents are from Sagada but had moved to Baguio foregood. I only remembered I visited Sagada once and that was when I was in primary school and since then I never happen to see Sagada again. Now I'm in my 50's and hope to see my parents hometown before I get very old haha.

Dude just a warning, there's a typhoon advisory now in Luzon, hopefully your aware of that. So make sure you take a pause for a while and observe the weather there if its safe to travel or not.

We drove this road in 2007 when it was undergoing major reconstruction. It looks much better now.

I have been to Baguio twice and never got used to the "zigzag" road. Very dangerous road to travel but Filipinos are resilient people. Welcome to Pilipinas Basel!!! 😃😃😃

We travelled the same route 6 years ago. It was fun travelling in that area for the first time. As if you are not in the Philippines, right! Hey why not visit the Province of Isabela next January 2019 for their annual Bambanti Festival. They have a PR who invites Vloggers/bloggers to cover their events there! They will provide transpo,hotel & food for the duration of the event.
