I'm a Barcelona fan and I'm pretty impressed about Exum, he is very good, he has been playing great, but again, injuries. Let's hope he can stay healthy
I watched Exum a lot. The analysis of his game as a rookie is spot on. He was extremely tentative on offense and that would lead to slow decision-making. He would often find himself open and in a position to attack, but because he was too hesitant, the defense would recover and he would then make a decision when it was too late, leading to mistakes. His defense really did shine though, and he was so, so quick! He had speed both laterally and in a straight line. His on-ball defense coupled with the emergence of Rudy Gobert on the interior helped transform the Jazz into one of the league's best defenses when both were on the floor. However, both were offensive liabilities on a team that already lacked scoring punch. From there, the injuries sapped whatever remaining potential he had and he was eventually shipped to Cleveland for Jordan Clarkson. You'd love to see him get another chance because he's a really great guy, but he'll need to develop skills that don't just rely on his athleticism, some of which has been lost due to those injuries. Only time will tell.

I think Derrick Rose and Kristaps Porzingis and DeMarcus Cousins and Shaun Livingston and Dante Exum would have been great superstar players if not for their anterior cruciate ligament injuries.
Rose was already a superstar and cousins was borderline 1st/2nd bear center at one point but I see your point
Livingston had a solid career even after that horrible leg injury.
That exum base be hitting different tho
He's coming back to the NBA, good luck Dante, your grobari love you! 🖤🤍
Mavs fan here we love him
I remember this dude from 2k15. that was the first game that I started mycareer
Quin Sydner single handedly destroyed his career. He was benched the moment he made a mistake and he was put behind the likes of Shelvin Mack and Trey Burke for crying out loud
I remember he had a commercial featuring him during the draft. I was so upset when Orlando passed on him
Exum is back in the NBA with the Mavs
As a Jazz from born and raised in Utah. I was disappointed when we took Dante ahead of Marcus Smart.
Nice hit piece... Dante wasn’t THAT bad, but you still made it out he was... the injuries were huge impediments.
Everything has its own way in life. That's why now Dante plays in b.c. Partizan phenomenally. He is adored by the fans and enjoys being in Belgrade. And we are attacking the title in the Euroleague. What more could a man want? 🖤🤍🖤
he could be on the nba as he was expected to be nba star and not a nba reject who plays in europe instead of nba
He's in Dallas now, and I really think he's going to be a solid role player for them.
As a Jazz fan I fell for all the hype when he came in. I was always super hopeful that he would be our version of Penny Hardaway. I gave up on him the last year the Jazz had him as I finally thought it was time to trade him and they did for Clarkston who's been a lot better for Utah then he was. I don't think he'll find his way back into the NBA due to how much hype he had and how big of a let down it was. I wouldn't mind the Jazz bringing him back as a back up PG to Conley or 3rd string combo guard on a way better contact then the 10 mil he was making before they traded him.
He played this season at Barcelona. Watching Euroleague games, his horrible court vision stood out, but the athleticism is still there, hope he gets smarter as a basketball player and another shot in the NBA
Failed is an understatement
Welcome back go Mavs🎉
He's playing now in Barcelona and it's a beast
a beast ? 7ppg is good but not best. Nikola Mirotic is a beast.
@@KITT5 he legit only averaging 7 PPG ????
@@KITT5 i know but the for the minutes he's having he doing good. Look the dunk he did against real Madrid
About 6 points in Euroleague and about 9 points in Spanish League. Still, he is very praised by his coach
@@brucelau2023 In European basketball, 7 ppg is good. He playes only 20minutes ppg and has good defense. But he is a role players in Spanish league so he won;t be back in NBA.
Exum was terrible in the NBA, but his jumpshot base saved my 2K21 career so salute lol
He’ll always be known as a great player in 2k. Best Junper in a lot of the games.
I had no idea Dante came basically straight out of high school. I thought he spent time in the Australian League first. Seems like that would have really helped.
Dante proved that he is more than just NBA material with this season in Partizan, NBA teams would be delusional not to take him
aight man you are glazing rn the best thing for him is to stay in europe because that is his skill level he is not good enough for the nba
And he just got signed by the mavericks😂
@hahuhihu7364 We will find out soon enough. I don't expect huge things from him in Dallas, but I do think he'll have a positive contribution and he'll stick in the league for a few seasons.
@@imdbtruth bro this is a new Dante, he had a season with the best coach in the world (nba included). Euroleague has a smaller court and defence is played every game. With more space to work with and his improved 3 point game, dallas has to make use of him
Great video
Legendary jump shot on 2k20
2k20 is wild because the most mid three point shooters would be shooting like Curry, no wonder the game got boring pretty quick.
I went to a Jazz game when they traded him for Clarkson and the fans were super happy to get something in return.
Dude, video needs an update
