You're doing great bro, connecting the holes as your working on, when you think your done with that hole, i'd like to see you retest it with the yabby pump, from diff locations within the hole, just one pan to make sure you got most of it, that's a nice wee pile of gold accumulating, beautiful weather, waters going down, you will easily achieve 5g and more, a shovel wont clean bedrock but a yabby pump will. keep on getting the gold bro. great stream.

Thanks Scotland! I’ll do just that! I’m planning on working that inside bend in 10 foot sections, working about a foot of depth each time. From the other holes that i worked, I’m getting down about 2 feet before I hit massive boulders. It’s at that point I start using the pump to get all around those boulders. So yea, I’ll work that bend until it peters out. By that time, I should be able to work in the water or other areas where the bank is exposed. This to me is fill in work before I can really get in the good stuff. I really appreciate your advice and I’m really trying to work this methodically and right. I’m seeing good progress and to be honest, the gold is getting a bit larger as I work this bend. I’m almost to the downstream middle section of it. Anyhow, I could talk about this all day… it was great seeing you yesterday and thanks again!
