3:07 Hine Taitoko ❤❤ She was my Maori teacher at the old Wainuiomata College from '93 to '97. She got me out of a papa'a form class and became my teacher from 5th to 7th form. It was because of her that I actually learnt how to understand and speak Te Reo Maori, which in turn helped me to understand my parents alot more better. They spoke little english and I didn't speak any island. Both were heavy set in speaking Rarotongan, Mangaian and sometimes Tahitian. My t's sound like d's fluently now Miss and I finally got the 'Ko au ko au tenei, ko koe ko koe tena, ko ia ko ia tera, kei te ako i te reo' down to a T. 👍😎 Thank you Mrs Taitoko. I'll always remember you. Thank you for every thing, even the smacks across the head and the flicks on the ears. Ko te peu o te tamariki maori katoatoa. Ki Australia nei, ki Aotearoa e te enua pouroa o te Kuki Airani - tamariki taringa mu lol WE'RE ALL THE SAME, WE HAVE NO EARS! 😂 Love you Miss, it was great to see your face again after 27 years. May God bless you and your love ones abundantly in all areas of your lives. Ka kite akaou ❤❤
