You have it straight, but after your comment I dug a little deeper into the patch history to see why this was potentially upsetting. I didn't realize when the book came out in v67 it didnt give stats. I also didnt think it came out quite this late in the game's development and I agree it's a bit too "modern" of a stat increase- I think that's what you're jabbing at here. I'll be passing that by like pig illustrated.

I've done a lot of research for this series to keep things as consistent with ~2006 GMS as possible and to make sure the end goal is even remotely possible; however, I still miss some significant details like this one and I'm happy to hear it now before it's too late. I wish I had recorded the whole series and then uploaded on a schedule for this reason. The weekly(ish) uploads help me improve though in terms of editing and planning out my actions
If you need a huge amount of accuracy for a short amount of time, you could go to the haunted mansion in nlc to farm maple pops, they give 100 accuracy

There's a bit of magic in these older games for sure. I don't think they were meant to get as nitty-gritty as washing but it has some undeniable advantages. Good luck in your trials! Dont forget to complete your HP challenges in Lith Harbor. I've heard that speeds it up a bit if you aren't already doing them :)

If you like multi-clienting, I recommend you try 3 mages + 1 dexless warrior. You can spam KPQ and get free OA Dex and Glove Dex 10% scrolls :) it also funds itself for mana potions
I forgot shoe avoid 60% scrolls exist (+1 accuracy) from brown teddies. Could be an alternative maybe if you can hit those? Love the series tho, keep it up. Always looking forward to these.

Have you considered getting a pet and the pickup equips with the free shop points from voting for the server? I'm not sure if that breaks your ironman rules, but it is nice QoL
It's amazing QoL honestly. This is my first time going without a pet. I'm mostly doing it because when I played as a kid I couldn't get NX so I'm trying to honor that free to play experience as best I can. Perhaps I will get one someday. I'll see you in game! :D
Great to see you progressing bit by bit :) I just remembered you can buy sauna robes in showa town for 10 speed for your stumpy grind, as well as do the quick quest in ninja Castle for the 30% jump scroll, which gives Dex as well. Maybe you get lucky 😁 can't wait for another episode haha

Hey, what's your stance on gachapon tickets? You cannot vote for them, but you can get them as rare drops in MapleLegends. I assume you will discard them as they are heavy RNG? I made a dexless warrior as well, used a gach ticket and ended up with an item worth 400K in-shop at level 21. Kind of ruined the experience for me. Will either drop the mesos or re-roll. If I reroll, I may make a series as well alongside you and of course give you credit for the inspiration. Maybe, just maybe, all us ironmen might need to come together to take down Zak...only time will tell, but would be a cool way to potentially "break" ironman status
You're right that I'm not using them. Tons of RNG, big progression skips, and ultimately not very F2P or nostalgia friendly. I dont drop them though. They're just piling up til i figure out how to tackle those. Zakum's gonna be hard to say the least, but I don't think it 100% requires a group to beat in the time limit. Until I'm convinced otherwise Im going to try to solo it. you're right it would be pretty sick but I'd hate to get so far only to essentially "fail" the solo aspect

If there's anyone waiting for you to continue this series, it's me. I'm hoping you manage to obtain a wider audience. Oh yeah, also, you should mute in-game audio when you're doing a montage. It sounds really jarring hearing two sets of music at once.
I was trying to line up the death sounds with the montage track. It didn't really land with in-game muted. But you do have a point, I could isolate the death sound in the future so only 1 track plays. Thank you for the feedback!

I've just had some issues with my new setup and a busy week. I can't keep up with weekly uploads forever though, eventually the videos will need to be more spaced out just because the content is going to take more time. I'd never just ghost the series though, so no worries :) if I felt I couldn't handle it I'd be upfront about that.

@@tujou Was testing out some classes, actually bumped into you when I was trying out Warrior haha but ultimately went with Assassin. I’m allowed to buy consumables from shops (pots, scrolls, stars), but that’s it. You gotta find all your gear in the wild or from quests; which has actually been pretty fun to learn what quests are good to prio and which mobs are best for my class.
I seem to have the same sentiment as the other comments, definitely invested in this series and have been checking for a new upload lol. You even inspired me to make an ironman F/P mage. Keep it up !
This is so nostalgic. Actually doing Ludi quests and spending time enjoying the 3x levels. It's something that I still remember from when Ludi originally came out all those years ago on my own characters. I had a Spearman and Bandit on Bera in those days.
I got into the game a bit too late to experience this sadly. By the time I played, party quests were such good EXP I skipped most of the grinding and questing. Plus, I just learned last week that Ludi wasn't base game like you pointed out? That's so crazy to me. Orbis/Ludi essentially being DLC is so unexpected
@@tujou Orbis came out pretty quick but ya for the longest time the game was only Maple Island, Victoria Island and Orbis. Orbis/El Nath was huge and created the Zombies meta where everyone trained until level 70+ at the time. Clerics had a field day there!
on the doll house quest, the difference is on the blue handle on top of the houses, if you pay attention you will notice the fake one has a more "3D" handle than the others, more detailed handle.
It's taken forever but I think I actually might see what you're talking about. I've heard something similar in the past but was never able to actually get the correct dollhouse until this playthrough.
at first i didnt knew what the difference was also, but as soon as i picked that up, i never got those doll houses wrong again, i always went straight to the fake one
