I try and offer good advice whenever possible. 70% Rubbing alcohol has oils in it. Use acetone instead. When sanding out bondo ditch the spung, use a hard block or piece of wood with sandpaper the very first time you sand the bondo. Remove all dents the best you can before applying any bondo. A butane torch works good on shrinking metal on dents where the metal has become stretched. Hope this helps you out my guy👍. Really nice Ef. There value is going sky high these days. Becoming vary rare! Kero us posted.
Makes me miss my Canadian import Ed6 89 Hatch B-Series swapped (LS-Vtec) B18 Block/Built B16a Head/Semi built JDM B16 LSD trans, Full suspension, BBK setup, Gutted, Tons Rare/JDM/USDM/Discontinued parts and other upgrades/mods. Was building it for 6yrs and it got stolen last year. Miss it :(
Man I hate to hear that! Can’t stand a thief. Sounds like an awesome ride you had. I have a circuit breaker in my car I keep flipped off when I park it so hoping nobody steals mine. And the quick release steering wheel. I always pull that out too. I want to put a tracker in it just in case
Yess! Been waiting for this video. Got a 96 EX coupe and it's got hella rust and bodywork needs done so i really appreciate you taking the time to record this and do the work! Probably would've taken you 2 less hours if you hadn't recorded haha. So just know we all appreciate what you do!
I know I'm a little late but you should have blocks and all of the didn't the feather them out first so they would stay flat then you fell there and blocks and that Ingress Dental leave waves as well as sponges hopefully it turns out nice
They are know for rust in the same areas. Bad seals around the back side windows cause water to build up in the rockers by the rear wheel well. I’m not too worried about it since it’s an older vehicle, I just like driving it around town
shankar3950 rust oleum auto primer and I used the High bond Bondo body filler. Got them from Home Depot. I like that filler because it dries quicker and it’s easy to sand
BklynBuild718 I’m in Greenville SC. Love the EF chassis too. My dream car growing up was a CRX but this car is better. There is more room inside and I have a daughter so she can ride with me. Thanks for subscribing!
@@MooreProjects I hear you, that hatch is perfect for building and you can still maintain it as a good daily with room. I’m currently dailying a RT4wd wagon. These guys are so simple and easy to fix I don’t think I can move onto something else haha
Bam_Hatch_ Bam sorry that I haven’t posted a part two yet. Ive already recorded some video footage of an update video to the car, that should be posted soon. I’ve been slacking so I apologize
It’s so ironic Moore and Ef. Haha heck ya man 💪🏻
Moore Motorsports James Dguy yessir! Glad we’re on the same page. Now just time for me to do a paint job lol

Allan A precciate the advice. It still has a little work left to do before I paint it. I’ll keep that in mind

Great vid! Thanks

Jason Dunn I found mine for $400 but it need a lot of work
And it was running
I bought mine for 1200 bucks running but needs hella work.
What type of primer was that? A filler and sealant?
shankar3950 rust oleum auto primer and I used the High bond Bondo body filler. Got them from Home Depot. I like that filler because it dries quicker and it’s easy to sand
shankar3950 it’s more of a rust preventing primer more than anything
Dude sweet Project man, real big ef fan, you’ve earned a sub haha, where are you located? Got alittle ef collectiob myself
