While he doesn't typically deal with world endangering events, he also does not respond to " petty crimes", which would entail things like jaywalking, shoplifting, or graffiti. He does deal with murders, rapes, kidnapping, human trafficking , organized crime, and rampant government corruption.
@A Random Marvel Fan neither is Star lord, yet they still gave him serious and emotional moments. You can have something be silly AND have serious and gripping emotional moments in their story.
Imagine gaining access to She-Hulk's apartment and blowing it all on using a smart phone to record a single night's worth of boning and cloning her own phone's content. Why not bug her apartment to capture any future activities and build up a more humiliating hit piece aimed at her? They would also have potentially gained access to the identities of any superpowered folks that shack up with She-Hulk like Matt potentially drawing more ire from other sources for her perceived negligence leading to people with actual secret identities being dragged into the light.
The walk of Shame is a notably unpleasant and humiliating thing to go through. Why in God's name would I feel empowered as a woman after watching Jen whine and bitch about how she can't find a good man to truly connect with, then find one, THEN kicks him out like a cheap skank and acts smug about it?! And then her worst enemy turns out to be internet trolls and doxxing. UUUUUUUUGH
having a different writing team for this ep really paid off, its still a mess but at least doesn't completely screw his character and it shows, though not enough to get a d+ subscription problem is its the second to last ep they magically want to wrap into a actual story arc when the show has ignored it entirely, no build up, the antithesis of build up and is just terrible
The last scene was beautifully done, especially the score and acting by Tatiana...BUT, I can't help but feel that it wasn't really earned as much in terms of the crowds freak out and the authorities actions. I just find it hard to believe that She-hulk can go from being the most beloved person in the city (after Titania that is), to being considered a high level threat in the span of 2 seconds. This all because she broke a TV that was publicly displaying an illegally filmed sex tape of hers. Granted tho, being in a world where Hulk and The Abomination has collectively injured/killed more people than I can count and racked up unbelievable amounts of property damage...it kinda makes sence why people would freak tf out like that (I just don't know if She-hulk waranted that much of it). But yeah idk, I just feel a bit of build up would have made for a more satisfying (and less jarring) scene. Great vid tho👍
Yeah to be fair, I probably wouldn't want to be in the same room as Smart Hulk either if someone started grilling him with, idk I guess like reminders about how he was abused as a child. Or shaming him for not being able to protect Natasha and Tony. It's really just about the potential damage a Hulk can cause when they let their emotions slip. That being said, if I were a friend or family member of either, it'd still be kind of fucked up of me to just run out of the room screaming, immediately jumping to panic like this well established, normally in control Hulk is just going to directly tear me in half with their bare hands. Not even Savage Hulk was ever going to kill Betty on purpose, and she knew that and thus wasn't manically afraid of the very sight of him flipping out. I guess Jenn's own parents have less faith in their daughter than Betty had in Bruce... real shame she never showed up again/Bruce went for a coworker instead, cause Betty is a KEEPER. Real ride or die kind of bitch (affectionate). Wife material right there. But yes like, the wall was sort of coming down and pieces of the ceiling were almost hitting people so... yeah an evacuation IS in order even when the Hulk involved is beloved. But damn like, at least like Nikki could have stayed calm and collected about it and remained nearby to try to calm down Jenn.
@@getschwifty5537 well, we know Jen's parents have almost no faith in Bruce as a Hulk. It seems like the father believes Hulk to be responsible for either the destruction in Johannesburg, Harlem, or both, given his comment in Episode...3, I believe?
@@getschwifty5537 Yeah, I mean evacuating the masses is fine and all. But it's all just so over dramatic for no reason lol. It's like in episode...3 I think where Abomination transforms (while still being locked up, and clearly remaining calm), everyone just collectively loses their shit all of a sudden. I just hate when the writers actually do something right (which actually happens sometimes believed it or not), but always shows how incompetent they are by half-assing it. And Bruce has been screwed over so many times in the MCU, that I lost count at this point😔
The law sequences seem like they were written by someone that has watched other law sequences…but doesn’t know law….missed opportunity when the audience knows more than the writers
You've made the same mistake the show did. The accords were about registration in the comics, in the MCU however they are about oversight. It has never been stated anywhere that the identity of uperheroes needs to be revealed.
It's crazy that the main villains of this series are internet trolls instead of Titania (if she was faithfully adapted) Jen may have faced consequences but she won't learn from them with how this series has been written, as usual it'll be everyone else's fault and "Jen is great". I can't stand how unlikable this version of Jen Walters is...
Did we even watch the same show? It's been leading up to Bruce coming back and Jen admitting he was right about the hulk shit. That's entirely what the end of episode 8 showed us, Bruce was right about controlling anger AND when you hulk out even just once people will always view you as a monster.
@@Inebriated_Goat And yet, because it's this show what happened at the end of episode 8 will most likely be either ignored, downplayed, be solved in a couple of minutes or once she stops those sexist internet trolls. Then everyone will go back to loving her. I would like to be proven wrong but I have no faith in a series where the true villains are internet trolls.
Yeah, I liken this newest episode to a good show with a mid episode. This is a mid episode but by far the best episode of this show (maybe 9 will be better but doubt). With that being said, if they keep making mid episodes like these I'd actually probably have a bit of fun. This and episode 4 (Wongers ep) are oddly the best episodes and if this entire show had been that, I would've at least been entertained by the absurdity of Wong being called Wongers repeatedly and Jen having sexy time with DareDevil on occasion.
God watching that scuffle with daredevil had me just …. Disappointed… your right she was going way to far. Daredevil can’t hurt her. Very “new Superman” crap.
For the insight into the minds of the writers and fans of She-Hulk, I love the show. It's a great glimpse into how they view us and the world as a whole. The people who think the show is written well and feel like they can relate to Jen/She-Hulk or the other characters are people everyone else should stay away from. Thinking the show is genuinely well written is like bright colors on a toxic animal. A warning sign to stay away or you'll get hurt.
In the context of making critics the villains of the show, the choice to make Intelligencia so closely resemble Doomcock, a critic who is fairly vocal about the quality of the majority of woke productions can only be deliberate (especially once the arguable shield of Dr. Doom is removed by next episode) meaning that Disney deliberately took shots at a small time content creator in their product which naturally made *him* out to be the underdog in this situation and as result he's gained about 6k new subscribers as of his most recent video
Jen being forced to deal with the consequences of her actions? 🤔 I'm guessing it'll be hand waved away before the third act of the finale in the form of a queef joke. Though these HACK writers (Jessica Gao specifically, since Jen is her self-insert) are worse than the Batwoman writing team, Jen will be just fine five minutes into act one.
Wait wait wait- you want the MCU to explain the world's view on vigilantes? I don't if Marvel proper ever explained the distinction. 🤣🤣🤣 I've always seen it as a point of contention for certain individuals, and not for others.
that wasnt the scene at all and daredevil was great this only showed a diffeerent side to him where he isnt just dark and bleak thats a good thing what does smelling have to do with showing hes daredevil?
Just reading these comments prove people hated this show for all reasons other than why they should...which is further ruining Hulk. And that was just an episode or two. So she screws up and understands that Bruce is right which means we came full circle and it paid off in the end. She's not perfect and has made a ton of mistakes. Some things were funny. Some were cringe. Lessons were learned and we got to see DD again. The overhating of this show is crazy.
To be fair, if you compare this show to just the other Disney plus marvel shows, it’s a huge dip in quality. And that’s just compared to the Disney plus shows, if you compare it to the daredevil show or even the movies, it’s a gigantic dip in quality. So I wouldn’t say it’s overhated, but that’s just me. I respect what you’re saying
It shouldn't have taken us this long for Jen to realize that she could help people by being a superhero and keeping herself in check; how do you live in a world where _your cousin_ brought back half of all life in the universe, and helped save the universe from it's most dangerous foe with a team of superheroes, and then proceed to be a disrespectful asshole to said cousin, try to demean his experiences with anger management and superhero work, assault him, then insult and mock the idea of being a superhero or being part of the Avengers? You don't get to have this kind of story with someone like Jen, it doesn't make any goddamn sense. And if this show was good, her _friend_ Nikki would have called her out on her active disregard for wanting to save the courtroom from Titania because she didn't want to mess up her clothes, because you don't get to complain about the Avengers not offering pay (which is stupid, as Valtuem's other videos have pointed out), or say that "being a superhero is for billionaires, narcissists and orphans" when you nearly let a jury be flattened because you didn't want to mess up your clothes. This show isn't being over-hated, it doesn't get _enough_ hate.
It's not crazy, it took 7 episodes to do something like this, any other good show would've done this in episode 4 or 5, therefore she would go through a change that would lead to her be a hero As of now, it's too little too late
@@ninjanibba4259 ok be right in episode 1 she says she has no interest in being a super hero and wants to be a lawyer. So the show is primarily exactly what she said. @@grandarkfang_1482 ok but it all came full circle and it was fitting that the man that lead the Marvel TV shows inspired her to do the right thing. Having her face this could save the show a little bit, I'm wondering if Disney saw it tanking and gently nudged the writers to address it?
If this show was about someone like Iron Man, the sex tape leak would've been played out as the protagonist getting what's coming to him.
@@dannypalin9583 I know it won't, it will be an empowerment moment, but that does fit comic she hulk, I think her potentially losing control could have some good promise. And I hope it has some consequences for her and she has to address it more than oh I'm over it and it's not a problem anymore.
@@samscott698 I hope it does too. But I'm not putting my hopes up.
Doubtful because this was all finished before the show premiered
It's a story woven for convenience and answering questions that weren't asked while dismissing concerns that were
Also definitely first
Jen is a reflection of the writers' personalities. If she's selfish, materialistic, self-centered, egoistic, incapable and insufferable, it is because the writers themselves are. They're projecting themselves on to her, consciously or otherwise.
The 60s Bullwinkle and Rocky were more exciting and had better plots, writing and production!!!
"Now here's something we hope you'll really like!"
oh boy, can’t wait for ur review on the finale, shehulk will likely never see daylight let alone another season
is the female lawyer award just a participation trophy?
Yes! been waiting for you to drop a video man🥹
Yet another banger video. I gotta say, she hulk has won me over I'm the latter half of its run. But even though I like the show at the moment, your criticisms are still valid and I like that you really are giving the show a chance. Giving praise to the soundtrack and cinematography is a small part of making your reviews feel way more fair and constructive than other people's reviews. You're also the only reviewer who can really pinpoint the appeal and fun of the hulk, which also shows that you do this out of passion instead of mindless hate
While he doesn't typically deal with world endangering events, he also does not respond to " petty crimes", which would entail things like jaywalking, shoplifting, or graffiti. He does deal with murders, rapes, kidnapping, human trafficking , organized crime, and rampant government corruption.
man i just wish this show was serious.. it would be so GOOD
lol, you can say that about any MCU project. That’s why the “Winter Soldier” and the “Incredible Hulk” are at the top. At least, imo.
@A Random Marvel Fan neither is Star lord, yet they still gave him serious and emotional moments. You can have something be silly AND have serious and gripping emotional moments in their story.
@@sadchild9478 yes, but everyone in Marvel has been failing to do what James Gunn has excelled at.
@@grandarkfang_1482 Touch kids? No I think everyone in hollywood is just as experienced as him, he just seems to have the right jokes. So comedy?
Imagine gaining access to She-Hulk's apartment and blowing it all on using a smart phone to record a single night's worth of boning and cloning her own phone's content. Why not bug her apartment to capture any future activities and build up a more humiliating hit piece aimed at her? They would also have potentially gained access to the identities of any superpowered folks that shack up with She-Hulk like Matt potentially drawing more ire from other sources for her perceived negligence leading to people with actual secret identities being dragged into the light.
This just shows that random people like us can come up with better plot idea's
Matt was literally the only saving grace for this episode.
The beginning had me rolling a little 😂
The walk of Shame is a notably unpleasant and humiliating thing to go through. Why in God's name would I feel empowered as a woman after watching Jen whine and bitch about how she can't find a good man to truly connect with, then find one, THEN kicks him out like a cheap skank and acts smug about it?!
And then her worst enemy turns out to be internet trolls and doxxing.
UUUUUUUUGH
did the writers of the show forgot to google the meaning of inflammable?.... wow just wow...imagine they get money to write this sh*t
having a different writing team for this ep really paid off, its still a mess but at least doesn't completely screw his character and it shows, though not enough to get a d+ subscription
problem is its the second to last ep they magically want to wrap into a actual story arc when the show has ignored it entirely, no build up, the antithesis of build up and is just terrible
The writer's are women in their 30s who know nothing about legal proceedings
@@spritemon98 *Consequences. They know nothing about consequences.
The writers of She-Hulk literally admitted in a post that they had no idea of how to write court scenes.
You've made the same mistake the show did. The accords were about registration in the comics, in the MCU however they are about oversight. It has never been stated anywhere that the identity of uperheroes needs to be revealed.
no wonder she assumes matt likes her they are the only ones with chemistry.
Well she likes having cake also eating cake....is it too much to ask for both?
The crossbow thing was lame AF
It's crazy that the main villains of this series are internet trolls instead of Titania (if she was faithfully adapted)
Jen may have faced consequences but she won't learn from them with how this series has been written, as usual it'll be everyone else's fault and "Jen is great".
Very “new Superman” crap.
they ruined frog man.
Tbh I hate 4th wall break imo it breaks the immersion of the story
Good 4th wall breaks break the immersion in a way that enhances the story. Here it just sucks.
@@SalamanderPreston yea true
I was never watching this for the law thats boring
that wasnt the scene at all and daredevil was great this only showed a diffeerent side to him where he isnt just dark and bleak thats a good thing what does smelling have to do with showing hes daredevil?
She listens to Matt because he gives her a wide-on.
It's entertaining! I'm enjoying it.
It's not crazy, it took 7 episodes to do something like this, any other good show would've done this in episode 4 or 5, therefore she would go through a change that would lead to her be a hero
As of now, it's too little too late
@@ninjanibba4259 ok be right in episode 1 she says she has no interest in being a super hero and wants to be a lawyer. So the show is primarily exactly what she said.
Not sure why there has to be a bunch of car throwing and Hulk smashing in what's obviously not the same materiel you're expecting from marvel.
@@grandarkfang_1482 ok but it all came full circle and it was fitting that the man that lead the Marvel TV shows inspired her to do the right thing. Everything she said to Bruce turned out to be wrong on multiple levels and rhe ending opens the door for growth instead of instantly being perfect.
It seems like people are bitching because she thinks she's perfect and knows it all and people are also bitching that she isn't perfect and didn't follow Bruce's playbook which isn't a one size fits all. Imagine Bruce telling any of thar hero crap to Thor who was a duces for 1490 years. Her origin is a car wreck. She wasn't kidnapped by terrorists or volunteered for the super soldier program Cap and Blondsky or even Doc Sampson.
Entire show is about her being irresponsible. They drove that home episode one. She continuously made mistakes like these random dudes she slept with or even taking a job where they only want She Hulk and not Jen... same as the guys.
If she, on day one mastered Hulk for AND went out to fight crime each night, you and everyone else over-hating the show would be screaming Mary Sue.
And dude pick up a comic. She's literally this in the 80s and recent Charles Soule run except ep 8 is her origin.
she is a shame to the name hulk
Bro checkout nando v movies and pillar of garbage’s new videos on she-hulk the shilling and copium is crazy they completely miss the point of why people dislike it
She Hulk is bad like cars 2 bad also first
At least Cars 2 had good CGI, that movie holds up surprisingly well for the most part.
how is cars 2 even remotly as bad as shehulk
what a boring show

Thanks Kirk, very cool
dude, grow up, it’s a comedy show
I recently finished binged watching Daredevil for the first time (It was amazing, loved everything about it & was sad when i realized it was only 3 seasons) I was really hoping this show wouldn’t f**k up the character but Damn that moment when the writers wrote in him and Jen hooking up, it was a wrap 😖 LIKE WHY? FOR WHAT? WITH SHE HULK? I felt disgusted after watching that, this ain’t the same Matt we all fell in love with & we have these bullshit female writers to thank for 🫠
