    This looks great, seems easy enough for a beginner like I would be to start with.

      Thanks man, yes, surprisingly easier than most think. Just pink foam, carved with hot wire cutter, then paint and spackle.

      Simple answer - I wasn't doing youtube yet and didn't even think about things like that when I hit record. You learn as you go.

    What paint did you use for the pink foam? I have a project I’m working on with a snow base, but I’m worried about the paint eating the foam. I have some of the spackle, but need to know what to start with

      You’re right, don’t use spray paint, it will eat the foam. Just use acrylic craft paint (Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, Walmart etc) and brush on a thick base coat, then you can add other layers and colors over that. I painted a blue acrylic layer first then added white to lighten the blues in different shades, finally ending with white dry brushing.
