Hell of a video! Not a mechanic by any means, so this helped! It's pretty nice you included all your bolt sizes, and tools. Makes it really quick for a guy... Thanks!

Very important to clean the block holes of debri and old seals...for the new bolts...my housing came with new bolts and the easiest one on the left only had a 1/4" to go to tighten...old seal was on old bolt and new bolt still snapped. Hour job turned into 2 days labor drilling and tapping after 4 attempts of welding a nut didn't work. Pita to say the least. Verify they go in easy by hand without thermostat like this guy says. Removing engine mount ,3 more bolts gave a ton more room. Long 1/4" ext with swivel was able to remove all 3 bolts.

Very helpful video. Do happen to recall the part numbers for the o-ring and the gasket? I’m having a hard time finding these.

I do not remember those numbers but I did get them at the dealer. Your local dealer should have them for you.

Hey the gaskets that you said you had to get from the dealership, do you by chance know or remember the part number for the gaskets for the hoses that you replaced in the video?

      Thermostat & housing 12597257
      Housing gasket 12681140
      Outlet pipe seal 12623519
      Heater pipe seal 19351800
Buy the seals from the dealership, the seals from NAPA are too big, didn’t fit and leaked. I had to reseal the outlet pipe.

you didn't say how to remove the thermostat from the housing nor how it goes back in...it doesn't just lift out. crucial steps missing for a tutorial (yes, i can get the hood open 😉) i've never done this before.

In this video I described replacing the complete thermostat and housing. The part come with the thermostat installed into the housing. I saw no need in removing the thermostat from the new housing but if you need to they usually just push and twist to remove. Don't think you could put it in reverse. It should only go one way. Hope this helps.
