- Updated - How to Turn Off Auto Update Instagram App Android
This updated video to my last one will show you how to turn off the Auto Update feature in the Instagram App for Android. You will need to turn off the Auto Update feature in the Play Store as well as in the Instagram App in order to stop the app from auto-updating. This LG G6 Android device is running Android 8.0 Oreo. I hope that this video helps you out and stops the Instagram Auto Update.

I just updated Instagram 5 minutes ago to the newest version to check for you. And the udates setting is still there for me.
They removed this option! Looking for a work around also. As of Jan 11 2022
