Me too, sometimes I think I'm one of the few who uses Sampltude. Thanks for the always helpful tips about Sampltude

Hello Marco, regarding your comments about "more precision" around the 16 minute mark in this video: When I'm using the Samplitude mixer I can move the faders in units of 1 discrete decibel (with the mouse wheel) or I can type values in. But when I'm in Track Automation I can't do that because the mouse wheel takes me to another track. Is there any way when I'm doing automation that I can type these values in? (I try to keep my automation to units of discrete decibels for several reasons such as noticing if I've bumped something or being able to get the same levels at different places).

Yes, see in my video, when I change the value, it is displayed below the parameter's name on your left. Once a part of the automation selected you can go and edit the value by numbers..

I love the song and your tutorial is great.
Can the reverb on the vocals in the aux effect channel be ducked by adding a compressor that is triggered by the main vocal track? Also, once the reverb kicks in can the left and right reverb aux be automated to pan from far left and right to go up into center?
I've been recording on a tascam dp008ex portastudio for a few years and am considering moving into a DAW. Is Samplitude reliable enough to record on a proper Windows 10 laptop in a remote/portable acoustic live setting (an ortf stereo mic array with 2 or 3 spot mics)5 tracks simultaneously ?
    Does it crash often?

Yes you can put a compressor and use side chain as a trigger from any sources. As for automating stereo to mono, it can be done but the plugin doesn't do it by itself. but most reverb plugins have a wide to narrow adjustment, so you could make an automation track and spin it the way you want to certain places in the song. I recorded band with 20 and more live track recordings without any problems. It depends on your computer and how the drivers of your interface is designed.. I often record acoustic drums with 10-12 tracks with a breeze.. Where any DAW will suffer is when adding realtime effects, for exemple an AMP SIM for guitar and Some VSTi running in realtime. If you add to many at the same time it's hard on ressources.

Hello marco, thnx for the videos about Samplitude.... I have a question... when I install Samplitude I never really know where everything goes...like Vita and Indepence and their sound libraries... or how to properly back them up.
My suggestion is that an Samplitude Installations and Back up video would be extremely helpful to the community of Samplitude users.
