Thanks for these videos! I notice that the meridians that you are connecting to the fascial lines are the Yang organs (gall bladder, Urinary bladder and stomach), Are there superficial lines with the yin organs or are you using the organ pair here? Thanks!
Certainly,
The concept of superficial lines as described by Thomas Myers in Anatomy Trains primarily revolves around myofascial continuities and doesn't directly correlate with the Yin and Yang organ classification from Traditional Chinese Medicine. However, when discussing acupuncture points and meridians associated with these organs, a holistic approach often considers the organ pairs as per TCM. While the video highlights the Yang organ meridians in relation to superficial fascial lines, the relationship between Yin organ meridians and fascial lines might be less direct or require a different framework of understanding. The discussion of organ pairs could indeed be a method to bridge the TCM understanding with the modern anatomical perspective on fascial lines.
@@kinetichealthonline the 3 yin meridians all lie within Anatomy Trains deep frontline. Yang are superficial and big movers. Yin are deep, contain all the diaphragms. It’s wild. I like Dr Tennant’s verbiage of “battery packs.” Thanks for sharing this and cross referencing. I love seeing it.
