Thank you for such a masterful tour by two scholars who know the Kirtland Temple so well. I was deeply enriched by your knowledge and willingness to share. You've blessed my life greatly.

I thoroughly enjoyed your interesting and detailed presentation. I learned so much. The Kirtland Temple is absolutely beautiful and has been very well taken care of. Thank you for everything you have done to preserve this historic and sacred space.

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint over 40 years and enjoyed this video especially now my church has taken ownership of the temple

A kind groundskeeper named Steve helped me appreciate what I could of The Kirtland Temple during the Covid summer of 2020. There were no tours on that July day but Steve's hospitality in the surrounding grounds made up for it. There are not many places on Earth where we can say the Lord came within a few feet, but we have the witness of Section 110 (lds) of The Doctrine and Covenants!

I was a tour guide at Kirtland Temple summer 1982. I played the part of Emma Smith in the production of church history that summer for part of Graceland College credit. Bill and Eleanor Lord were the senior guides who lived in the Sidney Ribbon house. It was a very formative growth time in my life that I appreciate having the opportunity to participate in. This presentation was a great reminder of the time I spent there. Thank you.

I had the chance to tour the Kirtland Temple in March of 1993, while my parents were serving an LDS mission in Kirtland. My mother, Gladys Briggs, had a special fondness for Lachlan Mackay, and I am so glad I got to meet him. Thank you for bringing back a wonderful memory.

Thank you so much for this virtual presentation. I had no idea what the inside looked like nor some of the history.🙂

I was also a part time guide at the Kirtland Temple in the early 1980s while serving my residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Cleveland Clinic. I also fondly remember Bill and Eleanor Lord. I greeted them when my parents and I served as delegates to the 1984 RLDS World Conference in Independence, Missouri.

I wonder if I am related to Bill and Elenore are relations of mine. Robert Lord had relatives that eventually ended up Lords of which my late grandfather belonged. Joseph Smith is my 7th cousin 7 times removed.

Joseph Smith placed the many artifacts, found on the Hill Cumorah, in this Temple. Without the extensive proof of ancient American pre- Colombian Mormon church, Smith's story would have been known as a hoax. Because of the numerous & well documented archeological finding on Hill Cumorah, the world's archeological knowledge is complete. Thank the Mormon gods for Joseph Smith's treasure finding activities and all the overwhelming proof of the larges battle to ever have occurred
