So grateful for all Scripture Central does. We, in England, who cannot go to these places are enthralled by what you show us. God bless you all. Thank you ❤️🦋
WOW!!! I got goosebumps just watching. I will probably never be able to see the temple in this life, so thank you for showing us through. It is a sacred place.
I lived in Ohio in the early 2000's and was able to have a Sacrament Meeting in the Kirtland Temple as part of a YSA conference. Truly one of the coolest opportunities and experiences I've been a part of.
Oh how grateful I am to see this temple… to see the history of ourLDS temple… but to also see something that a many great grandfather helped to build. Thank you!

I was baptized this past Saturday and me and my family all went to Kirtland to see the temple and the village and store. Plus we made our way to the Johnson Farm in Hiram Ohio. It was incredible and I really enjoyed it.
Thank you so much! This brings many special memories to my heart from when my husband and I served at the Kirtland Historic Sites as a Senior Couple from 2021-22. We were able to hold special meetings, a testimony meeting, & service project in the Kirtland Temple.♥️🎶👏🇺🇸
This was such a delightful experience! Thank you so much, Casey. It is on my bucket list to see this beautiful temple in person. This tour was so great that it was almost like being there!
Fantastic video! I loved the tour, and seeing some of the spots you don't hear as much about was very cool. When I go in person I'll make sure I'm prepared for the stairs! That building is so unique and significant in our history, it is remarkable that it has endured over time and is in the condition it is. Many, many thanks to our friends at the Community of Christ for taking such phenomenal care of the temple for so long and preserving it prior to the change of ownership.
This is the time they all got drunk and started seeing everyone. Whitewashing history and making these claims knowing that the men were falling down drunk is how we can all know that the LDS isn't of God.
I toured the temple many years ago as a missionary in Ohio. It will be so exciting to see how the restoration continues. We also owe such huge appreciation to the Community of Christ for maintaining the building so wonderfully. (Our group of missionaries had a fantastic spiritual experience with our guide as she described the area where the Savior appeared: she whispered to us that she was supposed to say that Joseph and Oliver had just had ‘spiritual experiences’ there, but she knew that the Savior had been there!)
Oh wow!! This was amazing!!! I’m in Ireland so a long way from this Temple!! Mind blowing to think we can identify where Jesus stood! Thanks so much to everyone who made this! Really enjoyed it ❤
Many many thanks for this tour and explanation of the first temple of our dispensation. So much spiritually rich history. God bless and please keep on sharing our fascinating church history. 🙏🏻❤️😊
We were able to tour the temple last October. To say it was a marvelous experience would be an understatement. We were the last group of the day, seven in number including our lovely guide, so we had extra time to tarry. At the closing when we sang “The Spirit of God,” my heart was so full of joy I felt as if I had been part of the dedication. ❤
Way to rock those steps, Casey!! Great video, great overview, fascinating details about the temple, and as always, great job narrating the walk-through.
Thank you. I don't know if I will ever make it to Kirtland to see the temple for myself, but I am grateful for your tour and explanation of this sacred site. Thank you!
Thank you Casey, this was so fun to come along with you on this FABULOUS tour. Makes me so excited to come visit this summer-guess I better get in shape first for those stairs haha
This tour is such an inspiration. I could feel the passion and commitment of the saints thru the tour. I could feel the Spirit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for our Prophet Joseph Smith and the Apostles with him for persevering and bringing the Gospel into our lives thru Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Thank you for this tour of the Kirkland Temple.
That's what I've heard. They were still using real wine back then for the sacrament and from what I heard there was a little something like peyote added. 😂 Everyone seems to kind of make up their own history. No one knows for sure because we were NOT there.

Thank you for this tour and for your wonderful testimony. I was recently asked to give a talk on Joseph Smith’s dedicatory prayer in section 109, and I learned so much. Seeing this makes it even more meaningful.
This was awesome! Thanks for the tour. I didn't know that we still have the original glass window. Does anyone know exactly how much of the temple is original? It sounds like most of it is.
This was refreshing after all the cares of the world. I'm glad we have this church in these latter days. I also have a testimony that Jesus is the Christ and the founder of this His church. Thank you for the video.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!! I don’t know this brother‘s name, but remember seeing him before!!! So want to thank you very much for your wonderful presentation, your service, and your time, and climbing those 99 steps, is it?!? so happy that this Kirtland temple has come back into the church’s hands, though the other church did a wonderful job of preserving it, and respecting it, etc.!!! March 2014, I saw this plate in a house that I buy in the future. The plate was in a place I wanted everyone to see. The image was Temple picture was blurry. I found the plate at Kirkland 6 months after the dream.
I'm curious if anyone has done a tour with both the COC church and LDS church. What was similar? What was different? I've only seen Elder MacKay's online tour, and visited the site a week after reopening with the Missionaries. Any insight between the two tours is appreciated.
I haven't seen anything official, but one of the differences as I understand it is there is now included the spiritual experiences, or included in greater depth, that occurred there. Mention of the visitation of Christ and the ancient prophets have more significance to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and are now talked about in a different way than before.

Do any of the windows in the Kirtland Temple open up, either then or now?
Amazing construction, how many years to construct?
Wow
My friend was there many years ago a d said she could feel a power where Jesus had stood
Any idea if the current owners will do any renovations, such as strengthening the top floor to allow more people and/or furniture?
Oh no John Hajicek will start crying rivers of tears that the bell will be eventually taken out.
What is the lifespan for “Rubblestone” construction?
Thought there was a lg assembly hall looking room?
Why didn't NEPHI bring the music and language?

The entire Mormon religion rests on the word of one man.
Joseph Smith said a lot of things. We should follow what the Bible says, not what Joseph Smith claimed.
IT IS A HISTRICAL FACT, THAT THE VERY FIRST CATHOLIC PRIEST, IS OUR DEAR LORD, JESUS CHRIST.
I wonder which room Jesus Christ, Moses, Elijah and his son can’t remember his name came to this room? Which one?
That basement looks scary weak to me, like it couldn't even hold up the temple. I'm sure once the 15 year agreement is met, the church will work on giving it a firm foundation just as it has the other pioneer temples.
Anyone watching this should go to the actual contemporary documents to learn about what is truly documented.
