As we all know it's vital to only gently seat jet screws during adjustment and not accidentally bend them. When you screw your drywall screw into the limiter cap to get purchase surely you are also screwing the jet with it. Would that not risk screwing it against the seat with too much force?
@casttolast Thankfully this doesn't happen as this was a concern of mine also. If it does, it'll turn it very little, as the screws in my experience seem to turn better with the splined insides of the caps then with a flat head. Especially with the saw running :)
@Brian-mc4pd If you've light sanded off the plastic nubs, you shouldn't have to. It's mainly just a plastic cap, that's held on by the splined outer shape of the adjustment screw :)
@@jimmyboy95 great video, took me less than 5min to do this on my cs590 and just a couple more after that to tune it. I didn't even remove the carb, just used 2 long wood screws to reach in the case of the saw.
Thank you. The high speed screw needs another 1/8 turn to run right. It worked perfectly.
Thanks For Showing, Never Thought About Removing Them Before But Will Remember Ur Vidio If Nessary..

When you put the orange limiter caps back in, do you have to lineup the slot in the limiter cap with the slot in the actual screw? Thanks.

OK, thanks for getting back to me so quick
@Brian-mc4pd Not a problem. Glad I could help :)
