OLA BISHOP . I LIKE YOUR CLEAR APPROACH TO MAKE UNDERSTAND THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE SWITCHES. SEE I OWN AN HELICON V3EXTREME THAT HAS A PROBLEM. WHEN I PLUG IT THE DISPLAY LIGHTS EMPTY AND THE SOFTWARE NEVER STARTS, CAN YOU HELP ON THAT? I JUST BOUGH IT BUT NEVER OPERATED . I BOUGHT I IN AMERICA.
waassssaaa did u get a mix u liked coming from your vl headphone didint quite find a setting yet ???i have the music coming in the aux and headphone to the iem system feels with a bit less highs and not so much stereo
Hi Bishop I like you have purchased this pedal and I’m very disappointed with it I am unable to get any sound through into my amp and I have properly plugged it in I think to my guitar I would love A video explaining proper plug-in methods and showing how to properly plug it in for the different uses

Bishop Bautista based on your pic if im using a single amp do i need to get a 2 to 1 lead adapter? Im presume the vl3x works well on acoustic too? Thanks
hello, I am so new to this but can anyone tell me why I cannot see anything anymore on the display screen? I have just bought my VL3extreme and the display is so deemed
Question - do the guitar presets and vocal presets run independently of each other? Ie can I select ‘491’ acoustic guitar in the factory guitar preset and then go to the vocal preset and select ‘79’ for example. But the guitar preset is still on ‘491’ or no?

Actually brought back vl2 , and upfraded,
Btw just niticed that vl3 is not as loud as vl2
Vl2 line out is amazing y loud.
Is there anything im missing , cause i need to push levels in order to get sounds right for live performance?

Sean Yox Hi Sean make sure you start by setting the input levels correctly by holding down “set up” and following the prompts on the screen. Then by moving one of the 4 Encoder knobs you can access the mixer levels and you can adjust the mixer and main output levels.
Things getting better, it looks like , that really need to work with “Your” AMP to get all levels right, and Vocal setup is must.
Now working on Looper, and import ing backtracks,.
I'm tossing up between this unit and the Helix. My concern with this, no Wah/volume pedal :/ Also, can you set it for simple clean/drive/lead on 3 buttons? I love the Helix but I'm a singer too and I want the vocal processing this offers, I'm just not sure it's gong to be good enough to replace m amp :/
Hey Darren I wish I could comment but I don’t own a helix So I don’t think it would be fair of me to give an opinion on that comparison. I will say, that the voice live three extreme is probably the best vocal effects processor, Guitar effects processor and three track looper in a single unit available. So far, I’ve been very happy with mine. I do know some people supplement this units Guitar processor with a full collection of additional pedals. I don’t do that because, I like to keep everything extremely compact and I really don’t feel I need to at this point in my show.
Bishop Bautista thanks for your response. I'm curious why it doesn't have an expression pedal, so no Wah (which I use all the time) or volume. This is probably the deal breaker for me. I have the Play Electric and that has the same issue :/
Darren Turner You should be able to use almost any expression or volume pedal. (TS or TRS). On the back of the unitYou will find a port for expression pedal. You can set that portTo be uses wah or volume, Of course you have to buy the expression pedal you want to use with you separately. With that saidYou'll find two different wiring setups on expression petals(Or at least mainly) The Yamaha styleIn the Roland style. The voicelive Extreme 3 Is designed to work with the Roland wiring , so Just keep that in mind.

Yes you are correct, there is a "Switch 6/Switch 3" input called "Footswitch" and there is another port called "Expression" for the Wah/volume pedal.
