Great video and another insight into rural Tasmania, didn't see Mr Bean drive past in his Mini...What engine powers those harvesters? Caterpillar, Cummins or Detroit?
Gotta love rural Tas. I'm smack bang in the middle of it these days. The Ploeger (now Oxbo) (pretty much everything new since early this year now carries the Oxbo branding) in the video I think has a John Deere engine providing a bit over 200kw. I'm not sure whats in the PMC machine and cant seem to find much on line. Ive worked on pea harvesters previously, but not bean machines so dont know a whole lot about them, except that they are a much simpler machine than a pea harvester and subsequently require less power. They are still pretty cool tho!
