Regardless of the advancement of the machinery farming is still reliant on favourable weather conditions and as climate change is causing more extreme weather events current farming will struggle even more to produce enough food for the human population. WHAT IS THE POINT of having the tractor do the work and you need to watch it I'd rather drive the machine more than watching it waiting for something to brake or jam the equipment. I'd rather be in the tractor so when something brakes or jams your right there instead of driving your pickup truck in the field you've just planted there is no point of a self driving tractor
