I'm so looking forward to these new cars in IMSA this year. The 28th can't get here soon enough to see these machines in action! I'm really liking the Acura and Caddy the best so far.
Love the Caddy. Love the series. Love Daytona. Love Marshall. I love everything!! The best part of these videos is Marshall pointing out the visual cues that I easily missed despite looking a lot at the cars. There's so much going on that you don't notice at first glance.
@@X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X Yes, and sports car racing is fine - but not at the level F1 car racing. Let's just say a sports car is as to a Cessna Citation as an F1 car is to an F22.
@@DennisMerwood-xk8wp It isn't, thanks to its alternating periods of boom and bust. The IMSA does a great job, but the FIA fails to market WEC as the second pillar of global motorsport.
Such a cool bruiser of a car! Definitely my favourite out of all the LMDh machines so far. And what a bold move to opt for natural aspiration; it'll be interesting to see if that simpler choice pays off. I'll be rooting for Cadillac during this running of the 24 at Daytona (my first year actually caring about this race, haha). Also excited to see the V-LMDh and Peugeot's 9X8 both attacking Le Mans this summer: two very different approaches to race car design. I hope one of them takes the flag but I can't decide which! 🏁
This is the best sounding GTP car. When that gas motor kicks in shoo boy. Curious if it's similar to the Chevy nascar cup motor.....sounds like a cup car motor to me
I've been an IMSA fan since the Camel GTP days. The last 5 or so years have been nearly as good as the old Camel days. Hopefully, these new cars will meet or exceed the days of the 962, Nissan, Jag, & Toyota days.
Out of 2023 LMDH entries i think the Cadillac sounds the best!!! Looks amazing too! Great job to all Manufactures and teams getting these beasts ready for combat next week! =D
I love this car! I get the feeling that Cadillac's current car is running a modified version of Corvette Racing's old C7.R V8 engine (Hints: 5.5L displacement, push rod setup)
Awesome video, thank you for posting it. I live on the beachside in Daytona and could hear the cars practicing from my house. I hope GM and Cadillac get it done this year. Good luck to all of the teams and manufacturers.
GM have been very impressive with their Chevrolet Corvettes at Le Mans. This Cadillac venture seems to be a very good corporate fit as well as impressive engineering and I will watch it with interest. The only cloud on the horizon seems to be this Andretti Cadillac F1 idea which seems to us Europeans as a really weird venture as GM is mainly focussed on the US market.
What an awesome video, it was really how you described the functionality of the tech of the car design!! I can’t wait to see these cars battle it out!!! I’m definitely rooting for Cadillac to Slay the competition!!!
And Cadillac are also going to race in the World Endurance Championship WEC. Obviously racing at Le Mans. And in case you don't know, a NASCAR Chevrolet Camaro is racing at the 24 hours of Le Mans.
Got to love the sound of the cross plain v8. I like the flat plain vette but it just doesn't have the sound of this cross plain cadi or even the flat plain gt350.
eddie van halen not a flying v guy , not known for at least , he mainly play strat type or his own offset looking thing, did he play V ?? looks never see him play flying v .
Dallara in Italy, yep. When Cadillac announced this LM car, they PROUDLY announced that "Parts of the engine was going to be ALL-AMERICAN" Which basically means the rest of the car wont be. Because there isnt a single workshop in all of USA qualified to make a FIA approved racing carbon moncoque. Not a single one.
As usual I will be hoping nothing but failure for GM since they have abandoned the US manufacturing for Chinese manufacturing for their parts and a huge amount of assembly.

Caddie sound takes me back to the 70's stock cars. Not the revs but the note of the engine. Great vid.
Love the Caddy. Love the series. Love Daytona. Love Marshall. I love everything!!

If these Americans were to see an F1 car up close it would blow their mind.
This thing is a pickup truck technology compared to a Ferrari F1 car.
^ ...And?

And yet it is the peak of sportscar racing today.

It’s breathtaking both visually and audibly.

The Europeans are tough to beat at LeMans.
Less than 2 weeks to go...LET'S GET IT ON!!!
Cadi One Love
I’m loving the gtp class has come back.
Get yourself someone the way she looks at him at 5:32 . That aside great video Marshall!
Loved this close up look at the Caddy. Good work Marshall.
“ 15 pieces of flair” good job Marshall👏
IMSA has had it's ups and downs glad to see it's going strong again.
Such a great series into these cars and their differences. Thank you!!!
Thanks for the Fantastic introduction to the Caddy MP!!! 🏁🏆
Loving this series, thanks MP+Racer!
Just now getting into imsa. I am really excited about the season. As an American, I got to root for the Cadillacs.
This is the best sounding GTP car. When that gas motor kicks in shoo boy. Curious if it's similar to the Chevy nascar cup motor.....sounds like a cup car motor to me
By far the best sounding top class prototype!
Awesome video Marshall. These cars are so dang cool, man.
Getting me ready for next week in Daytona. Thanks Marshall.
That 5.5L V8 is Awesome!
The 5.5 liter V8 would be a real beast if it had twin turbos, the Cadillac is really nice.

Nope, Cadillac have said it's a DOHC engine that's developed in-house, so I'm thinking it's based off the Blackwing V8 more than anything else.
These videos are fantastic Marshall, I could watch stuff like this all day
Let's go Cadillac! Can't wait!
Awesome video, thank you for posting it. I live on the beachside in Daytona and could hear the cars practicing from my house. I hope GM and Cadillac get it done this year. Good luck to all of the teams and manufacturers.
I'm loving these tech talks
GTP is back!
Loved these guides. And this thing sounds like thunder!
Can’t wait to see this at Sebring in march
Thanks, Marshall
Thanks again. It's better than being there!
"the bruiser" love it lol
Great tech tours! I'm excited for the upcoming season!
CADILLAC HAS ALWAYS BEEN A HEAD TURNER ,,,,,,,,,,,,,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERY COOL.
What a great video series thanks Racer and Marshall!
Fantastic work Marshall. Brilliant series!

Are the split gurneys born out of a thermal or an aero concern?
Intersting movie! Cheers Fabrizio - like 6

cadillac V lmdh👑
Thanks for the videos! If you ever need an extra cameraman or video editor, I'd love to help out. :D
4:22 What are those 6 metallic discs for? They look like little weights… 🤔
Got to love the sound of the cross plain v8. I like the flat plain vette but it just doesn't have the sound of this cross plain cadi or even the flat plain gt350.

I was just thinking flying v

it sounds like a weird hybride between a nascar and indycar
Toto Wolff begins sweating 🥶
That Americans think this car has any relevance to a F1 car - just shows how ignorant they are.
