I'm glad you're back and I'm sorry it was a bad year for you. Hope everything is a bit better. I enjoyed this video and I'm looking forward to part 2. All the best and safe journeys!
Hi Fleming, It's so good to see you're back . I hope all is well. Have missed the videos and your comments on the journeys. I look forward to more videos and that V8 background rumble in the future. All my very best to you and your family from Mark, UK
Hello slipses, so happy to watch one more of your vidéos 👍....and of course waiting for the next one ! Awfull the time you can loose when crossing Germany and when weather is bad , it can quickly become a nightmare ( but not just in Germany ...) Have a nice trip. Greatings from Brittany. P.S : no music need when hearing your v8 sound 😉 ( joke)
Hi, Mr. Andersen it just feel so good to get some news from You : I just want to wish You good health and a successful driving in the near winter months coming up ! Stay safe & thks for this great video ! Welcome back along with your Blue Bird 🤩from
Nice video - good to see your back and hope all is well and the worst is behind you, wish you all the best and safe travels. Cheers and stay safe. Pete
Wellcome back Slipses been a while but we all understand, not a good year. Happy trucking. Then it began snowing, now i would call this your bread and butter type of weather.
Things are so funny and strange sometimes. I found out your channel after looking for real life footage of North Norway trucking, which I explored (as some users mentioned the game already) in ETS2 :D Then browsing through your channel I see this video in which you pass by my city and in that exact moment, at your side appears a truck of my gf's uncle's company. The world is small!!
Italien! Liebe Grüße an alle! Tom
Very good to see you are all well and ok and still in the trucking business. Too bad though such a short video for a great driving view to really enjoy. Make it longer next time, lol.
Nice trip I like how the European trucks are lit up like American trucks with the market lights across the cab roof. Just returned to the states from the U K (London mostly) and thought it Wei f that all they have on the roofs of both the tractor and trailers were these small low light white lights on the cab corners and tiny red ones on the trailer corners. I feel that there’s never enough lights. I’d rather have so many that it’s painful to look at than hardly any
Great video! I drove truck for 20 years here in the US… never quite understood the rig setup over there… in rain and snow I wouldn’t want any part of it… lol
I really enjoyed that. Thank you. Coming down into Italy looked really nice and in the comfy V8 it would have been a pleasure. I'm not so keen on the EU and I am sorry you have to put up with the crazy Austrian truck rules. Oh well, breath in tolerance and breath out peace. I look forward to part 2 and your return to the Nordics. Keep smiling and take care my friend :-)
AH Slipses, I ( along with many others,I suspect) just knew you’d return ---- eventually !, for my part you’ve been missed, looking forward to more of your distinctive videos, and having now read all the comments, it’s obvious the feelings of your followers are mutual. regards from 🏴 (Scotland)
Hello mate , another great video ,im sorry to hear 2022 isnt going too well for you , but join the club mines not the best either but hey our types just soldier on , lets face it we havent much choice , can you lift your Tag when you are loaded and will it stay up or is it like ours in the UK and goes down as soon as you reach 15 mph if youve any more than 3 or 4 ton on ,recently had to get out of central london with a puncture on the Tag " super singles should be a twin tag " about 7 ton on at just below 15 mph wasnt too difficult as traffic doesnt go much faster , but in snow itll make a big difference if you can keep it up all the time , take care mate .
In Europe I believe you can drive 4.5 hours, then take a 45 minute break, so you can drive another 4.5 hours, is that correct? What if you are stuck in traffic for 3 hours, can you drive another 3 hours or is that driving time lost till the next day??.
That is correct, the time you spend in a traffic jam is lost, and yes, you are not allowed to exceed 4,5 hours driving before having a 45 min break. Twice a week, you are allowed to drive for 10 hours, ie. 4 + 3 + 3 or 4,5 + 4,5 +1 that is entirely up to you, just never more than 4,5 hours in one go 😊
Greetings from Singapore...came across this video by chance. Good video. Beautiful sceneries. So how did u kill your time in Austria during the weekend when the truck ban was in effect?
Awesome stuff man, I too hate it what we call over here in the U.S. "Truck Holidays" But it is cool scenery over there. I also understand your frustration with Truckers who don't understand how to drive in Snow. The 'Southern Folks' as you call them think, oh snow, everything is fine. But no, you need a little different set of skills for winter driving. Had a fellow trucker come from the state of Florida (southern folks) into the State of Washington (where I am at, we are about 120 miles ((195 km) from the Canadian Border) try driving over a mountain pass which he has never done. All trucks at the time had to throw chains on the tires due to bad winter conditions, I was doing my thing and he came over asking for help and after getting my chains on, went over and helped him out. -- Glad to see you back brother!!! ;)
Being from Louisiana, I had never encountered snow until I started driving out west. I learned fast though, and taught myself to put on chains. Now I’m happy to help the other struggling southerners put on their chains when I come across them.
hey Slipses, I am really curious if your job is special or not. I mean you do really long distance jobs, and going all over scandinavia and europe, I didn't see many danish trucks in Europe (down from Denmark). I went to Norway hoping I could do jobs like you do, international long distance jobs like you do, but sadly I had to realise its not possible, norwegian trucks dont really cross their border, and even inside norway few company do long distance trucking, so I did local delivery mostly but it was so boring ...
Mr.Andersen, glad that you´re back. 2022 is a really bad year, you´re not allone, Sir. The problem with driving on snow in germany oder other countries outside from scandinavia are the law, the tyres and mostly the drivers. You see it at 5:00, why are staying this heroes on the left lane? 95% are from eastern europe 🤬 Rosenheim- Verona or visa verce, I don´t like this way. Most time a hero from Girteke, Vlantane in front and this heroes have soooo many time.
Austria is bootle neck because thy wanna trucks use their railway to pass throught. Why you going throught Kassel and not Leipzig there is more better way to Munchen (imho)
I'm glad you're back and I'm sorry it was a bad year for you. Hope everything is a bit better. I enjoyed this video and I'm looking forward to part 2. All the best and safe journeys!
