Good video. I used to run Europe from Scotland in the nineties been in Canada and the us last twenty years trucking, thought about going back to drive in Europe for a bit but I don’t think I’ll bother after watching this lol. Too much bs and cash pirates going round in Germany still. Stay safe.
@@georgegikopoulos5728 I think so yes, alot of driving since I'm never loading or unloading because I pick up containers from the harbor/containerterminals and just drive them to the unloading spots and then wait for the company that order the stuff to unload and load me again then I go back and drop off the loaded container to the harbor/containerterminal and then repeat

Woww, great stuff! I'm from the UK. Yes, the weight limits are very strange in Europe! 40 tons is too low! Here in the UK, its max 44 tons. But 50 tons in Scandanvia is even better! 😉 I do oversized loads, and have an exemption up to 150 tons. Just my truck and trailer empty is 45 tons xD😅 Yes, I totally agree with the German police! I like the lenght of one video, 10 mins is great, I like your comments in the video, makes it much more enjoyable, and I love the sound of the Scania NG V8, sometimes combined with music it´s just amazing. Keep up the great work and I´m looking forward to part 3 :)
In Holland it's also 50tons and for the 25 meter one's 60ton with enough axles. I've driven a 3 axle truck for 15 years to the UK and yes your heavier but stil 4tons of extra load. So waiting for part 3 stay safe Slipse. Greetings
6:14: Here in the US, 40 English tons (~38 metric tons) is all that is generally allowed on the common 5-axle setup; 1 steer axle, 2 drive axles, 2 sliding trailer axles. Canada allows generally about 60 metric tons on an 8 axle setup ( either a 1-2-3-2 B-train doble, or a 1-2 tractor unit with a 5 axle trailer, with a 3 axle 'tridem', and a drop axle 3m fore and aft). Certain states/provinces have higher limits, though.

1:20: In English, we spell it as "Padua". This city was the capital of the very late western Roman empire, and the western capital of the Byzantine empire.
Almost any name in continental Europe ....which is 100% non-English speaking (except microscopic little Gibraltar))....are being twisted/renamed by the English language. If they keep the original name/spelling of a city ....well then they are miles off when it comes to pronounce the name correctly. Kind of annoying.
Hi Dorothy, yes we have very strict and rigid rules of driving/resting time in Europe too. All movement of our trucks are recorded electronically, and tampering with the tachograph, or breaking the rules, are fined heavily, and can cost you, your drivers licence.

With all the time you spend away in the truck was there a reason why your boss had the R series Scania instead of the bigger S series
